Just got home from the playdate. REES DID AWESOME! He was so "on" today! His behavior was perfect, and he was so focused and calm. I am so proud of him! The team said they will be placing him in a mainstream classroom as he did so well. It couldn't have gone better. Prayers work!

It took such a long time that we are finishing up the testing on 3/24. So I'll ask for prayers again for that days testing for the calm, happy, relaxed, focused, and attentive.

Off to cook dinner (aka order take out!) It's good to be happy again!

Oh, Denise! I'm so happy for you (and for Rees, too!)! It's amazing what the combined power of the DDA can do! You sound more like yourself now! I hope that you get more and more of these days!

Congrats!!!!!!!

YEAH!!! and take out too!! nummy!!

I came in for a quick DIS fix before I am going without for 2 whole days!! :guilty:

I am finally getting my "me" time this weekend at a retreat....though can I call it completely me time if I am teaching a session? :confused3

Anyway, I am so glad everything is looking up for everyone and don't get too chatty this weekend!!

Triplefigs - Glad the "interview" went great! I don't think seperation helps either!

Kristine - I only donate for one reason or else I wouldn't do it at all: My brother was in the military for two years during Desert Storm and had to take so many meds that he can't donate anymore. He'd donate every chance he could. Now he can't, so I do it for him. It's the least I can do for him! Red Cross calls me all the time anyways because I'm A-. They like my blood type. :thumbsup2

How wonderful! Prayers and pixie dust for the 24th - you got it!!

Kristine - You're makin' me

I received my Gold Seal Glow in the Dark transfer paper today. Should be interesting. I have one of Kate's designs I'm gonna test it on. I'll be sure to post it when it's done!

Now I think I'm gonna take triplefigs idea and "cook dinner"...hope everyone's Friday went well! (And from the sounds if it so far, it hasn't been a bad one!)

YAAHOO!!!!!! That is SUCH great news, Denise. I am so glad that the evaluators got to see the side of Rees that was most important for them to see at this point. I am so happy to hear that he will be in the mainstream classroom. I know that will make all three kids so much happier. Congratulations on the good news! We will definitely be praying again on the 24th (and everyday for that matter) for Rees and all of you. Enjoy your weekend!

I just got home from work and was going to post to ask Denise how today went, and the first thing that popped up was her post.

YAY FOR DENISE AND REES!! :Pinkbounc I am so happy that you all had a great day! This place is so great, that we all pull together for one another! Welcome back, Denise!!

BTW - has anyone heard from Lindsay? When was she supposed to be back from her trip? I was just wondering how things went.

Thanks for all the good wishes everyone! I ended up making chocolate chip pancakes, bacon, and eggs for dinner (Rees' favorite) as a surprise for him. I just feel so much better. Off to give baths. I'll be back later.

Hey it was "backwards night" at the Fig household! That's one of our favorite nights!!!! I still haven't had dinner yet - can't decide what I feel like eating :confused3 and that is usually NOT a problem!!!!

Hey Marti (and Paul and Matt)...guess what we had for dinner?!! :teeth:

Yep, we were at the mall buying our Disney APs, so we had to stop by Chick-a-lick!

I'm so happy to hear Rees had such a good day, Denise! :goodvibes

11 days until WDW...21 days until Alyssa's party...so much to do!!!

I hope everyone has a great weekend! :wave2:

Amy :)

AMY !!! That is so wrong for so many reasons!!! I can't believe you'd do that to me! Now its 9:30 and I still haven't had dinner.... that's just not right....

Did you see the thread on another board that the poster said they got sick from a Cincinatti Chick Fil-A??? Apparently the chicken was fine, the mayo was left out too long...........

It's still not right!

Let me publicly apologize...I know how it is when you only want ONE thing and you just can't have it. Like a Dole Whip!!!!!

Oh, I'm really going to get it now, aren't I???? :teeth:

And BTW, how can the mayo be bad...it comes in little packets. I guess those expire eventually? :confused3

Amy :)

You are just CRUISIN FOR A BRUISIN!!!! How can such a nice little girl have a mommy that can be so cruel??? :confused3 I want a Dole Whip!!

I'd like everyone to know that not only did Marti post this public threat, but she also sent me a PM claiming her husband called me a bad name!!! :rotfl2:

And Alyssa's not so nice...she's almost two after all! Her new favorite phrase is "go away." I guess she's heard me shoo the cat away one too many times. :lmao:
