Well, I've had a bit of a depressing day, today. I've been having problems with one of my classes, and so I asked the professor for some clarification on an assignment. He emailed me today, telling me that perhaps I'm not ready for graduate level classes, and maybe I should consider transferring out. I'm completely perplexed since I've been taking graduate level classes for 2 semesters, and have gotten A's and A-'s. With this particular professor, I've done every assignment and gotten 100% on every assignment. So, this comment of his came out of the blue for me. I was always taught that if you had a question, to ask the teacher for help. Well, I did this, and was completely shut down.

DH is on his way home from work to take me out to dinner to get my mind off the whole thing. What a sweetie!
Yeah, Glynis, like everyone else said, just let that one slide. I know it's an awful feeling, but just think of it as his problem, not yours. He needs an attitude adjustment or more sleep or something.

Can't remember if I posted this so here it goes:

My mom will be going in for her biopsy of the spot on her liver tommorow morning at 10:30 east coast time...8:30 CO time. Please pray for her....and for a quick diagnosis.

By the way this is Sunny.
My baby girl.
mynewbedroom-1.jpg

This picture shows the color much better.
Pretty plain without pictures on the wall.
Trying to get packed.
I'm thinking when I get into an apt.
To keep this color as an accent wall.
My Co. allows 1 accent wall per room.

Honest do the colors match.
I'm part color blind, so I'm really asking.

Now to do Ramiro room this weekend.
Then the inside is done. :woohoo:

I think it's beautiful!!!

Well I know it's been awhile since I have been online, but I read quite often. I wanted to share what has happened in Mya's life this week.

Over the last few weeks, I had decided to get my life back in line spiritually and on Sunday evening said a prayer for my daughter to be healed, having faith in the Lord that if it was his will, then it would happen. (Been reading a bit of Luke). So with that being said I went to work on Monday. Well around noon I get a call from the wife. Mya has just gotten out of therapy and had decided to throw her crutches down and walk by herself approxamently 15 feet. This is a girl who had only taken TWO steps before by herself without falling.

She has continued on this pace and last night walked approxamently 20+ feet without falling 4 times!

She is not "cured" from cp, but mentally she has been strengthened to try and walk by herself and not "fear" falling down. Now when she falls, she's like "hold on I can do it." She will then craw to a wall raise herself up and proceed from there.

Thanks for letting me share my story.

She is also still working on potty training and still doesn't want to tell us when she needs to go, but is holding it most of the time until we take her. Just one or two accidents per day.
that is great news.
Give her a big :grouphug: from all of us.

Thanks Denise! When I first generated a ticker it said we leave in 32 days... then I realised I'd put the day and the month in the wrong way around! :lmao:

As much as I'd love to go see Mickey in 32 days that is not enough time to plan!!!

:goodvibes

okay -

I have loved Ace but did anyone else think that was one of the worst AI performances EVER?!?!

Oh no - after his disasterous job of Daniel Beddingfield last week (which i thought was the worst performance ever) I hoped he'd sort himself out this week!

Oh well - I'll have to wait until tomorrow night to see it before I can cast my opinion...

pirate: (not sure why I'm using him - just jumped out at me form the smilie board!!!)

Good Morning

Paula - Congrats to your family on DHs promotion! That is wonderful news!

Glynis - I'm sorry you had a prob with your prof. Hopefully you can just forget about it and continue with the great work and prove him wrong!

Lovesdumbo - good luck with the monster fighting.

Theresa - prayers for your mom. Let us know how it goes.

Jo - I love your new bedroom. It looks very classy.

MidNite - It's good to see you!

Jo -- love the colors. I think they are beautiful together.

Theresa -- prayers and PD to your mom and her doctors this morning.

Have a good day DDAs! :sunny:

Jo. The room looks great. The photos seem to have everything matching nicely. You must be so happy to have the house in great shape. Keep up the good work. I hope that it sells quickly so that you and Ramiro can move on with life.

The boys watch the Little Einstein's every morning. I find myself wondering why the show isn't called the little Mozart's as everything revolves around mucic. Eisnstein was brilliant, but as far as I know he wasn't a musician.? :confused3 .

Just a fleeting wonder on an overcast day.

I realize you're probably being rhetorical, but I'll answer this anyway. ;)

Julie Aigner-Clark is the founder of the Baby Einstein series. Obviously, the company's name was based on Albert Einstein, but the Baby Einstein products have expanded in many directions (Baby, Noah, Baby Bach, Baby Newton, etc.) since 1997. Little Einsteins are an expansion of this line, aimed at kids ages 3-6.

We have a Baby Einstein DVD that includes an early promo for the Little Einsteins, but at that time they were going to market the show as Little Einstein (without the "s") :teeth:

I agree with you though, Deb...the show is very musical! :goodvibes

Amy :)

Good morning everyone!

It's been very busy around our household in anticipation of WDW and Alyssa's party! Kevin and I are both gradually crossing things off our "to do" lists!

I know he appreciates all your compliments on his designs! :sunny:

I've been trying to keep up...it's nice to read the "good news" updates and here's some :wizard: for everyone who is still coping with difficult issues. Forgive me for not being more personal, but you are all in my thoughts and prayers! :goodvibes

Well, we're off to run some errands. Hope everyone has a great day!

Amy :)
