Bernadette - Your DVD fixed my phone line, too! After I viewed the pics the DSL and the phone both worked.:rotfl2:
The guy told me it could have been fixed earlier because he is an installation guy who does repair for extra money. And it wasn't HIS fault. I will be calling AT&T and telling them that the next time this happens I will cancel my land line phone AND my DSL. Of course I realized the burglar alarm is routed through the land line, so that's an empty threat. And DH and I are both under contract on our cell phones so I still have to deal with AT&T.:sad2:

I got Emma's Nintendo at lunch and her Mickey Clubhouse Plane on the way home from work yesterday so she's nearly done for Christmas. I ordered Lizzy's AG stuff so she's all set too.

I was asking Joe what he wanted and he couldn't think of anything. I showed him the Lego website but he didn't seem too interested. I was thinking of getting him the Lego airport but he didn't seem to care about it. He was mildly interested in the Sponge Bob stuff but I don't care for that stuff as much (I know its not for me.....). So now I'm thinking about a monorail for him but I'm not sure if they are worth the money.

Last year all he wanted was an Irish Flag but he got a Nintendo and an Irish Flag.

I don't think DS is going to get ANYTHING for Christmas unless we can get rid of about half of the stuff he already has. His room is a death trap. He has stuff scattered everywhere, and he is too overwhelmed by the sheer enormity of the mess to be able to clean it up. I think I will be spending the weekend in there trying to help him.

Sounds like my boys rooms, except I am overwhelmed with the mess & have no idea where to start :scared1: A big shovel would be handy lol

So DS's brochure is coming along. The problem is it is formatted to have 3 equal columns with a border around them so it doesn't fold properly. This is where a "Tri-Fold Brochure" setting would have been quite useful. Anybody know how to get the text all the way out to the very edge of the paper? I looked and I don't see anything that says "margins".:confused3
Look under File and there should be Page Setup. Click that and then go to the tab for margins.

Good night everyone. I've read everything but am too tired to comment so I'll just say  ,:wizard: and :grouphug: . Hopefully that will cover all of my bases.

Deb (or Chris)... my boss will be driving through your area this weekend. Can one of you PM me the exact name of your town and the restaurant where Deb works? She said, if the time was right they might stop in and eat a meal.

I shouldn't have figured out how to check my children's grades on the computer:sad2: Let's just say the lesson that I thought Cassidy learned last year wasn't learned.

I am a bit stressed in work and outside of work due to some poor choices we made the last few months.........when will I learn???:confused3 :sad2:

Sorry, just had to let that out.

Boy, do I know that feeling! I'm trying to tackle our own mountain of unused toys while the kids are in school. I just take a few things at a time, and deliver them to the thrift store. So far, so good. The kids have not noticed anything missing.

You sound majorly stressed. Anything I can do?

:grouphug: to you!

I have parent teacher conferences tomorrow, and Katie confessed to me that she's pulling 2 B+ in a couple of areas. She's pretty disappointed in herself, so hopefully, she'll pull herself up.

Penny - I think I have designed one single T-shirt in the years I have been part of this "group" so I don't consider myself a DISigner at all. I applaud you for sticking to it and leanring how to use the software to design. Just does not appeal to me (although I am glad it appeals to others!).

That being said... I, for one, am delighted to see that you are back here posting. I think you would agree that the atmosphere is bright and cheery and this is a very supportive group of wonderful people who genuinely care for one another. We may not always agree on everything, and thoroughly enjoy the differences! Welcome home! :goodvibes

Thanks for the Welcome Home. You are right, it is a very supportive group. But it is hard to keep up with all the posts. LOL
Take care and thank you again. Penny

High five Penny! Missed you!!!:yay:

Tomorrow we're going with my bestfriend, her son, SIL and her 2 kids and her mom to pick apples, pumpkins and go on a hay ride .. i'm kinda mad RJ's gonna miss out on it so i found another orchard closer to home that i'll take him to maybe for a one on one day when he gets back ... 4PM Friday can't comes soon enough. for those of you that need a little laughter i came across an evilbay ad a few months back and turns out the woman has her own blog, if anyone is interested in it here it is http://mom2my6pack.blogspot.com/ she's histerical and apparently about to release her own book .. think "cheaper by the dozen" and that's this woman's life.. but only with 6 kids lol .. well it's now almost 1 am and i'm heading to bed tomorrow's gonna be a long one .. sweet dreams everyone ...

I am sorry your life is so topsy turvy right now, Theresa. Sounds like you need a lot of  and hopes that you can get everything all straightened out. I also hope that Cassidy soon learns her lesson about her school work! :sad2:

no need to keep up... we chat about a LOT of stuff that you can skip! :rotfl: Just ask for a recap if you are gone so long that you can't remember who is who or what we are doing. ;)

Thanks to everyone for their kudos on Kristin's acting. I think her call back reading is today... or maybe it is tomorrow... I think I really don't know.

Kathrin called me yesterday with the good news that she has two interviews set up in Boston at the end of this month. As many of you already know it is a direction she has always wanted to go and now it looks as if it may finally happen for her. I wonder how fast this move could happen!?! :confused3

Hope you have fun picking apples and pumpkins, Heather. I know you will all miss RJ, so I hope you can work it out to take him when he returns. That blog is hysterical, isn't it? :lmao:
