It is suppose to be in the 90's here this weekend. Guess I won't be putting the summer clothes away yet! Oh well this will prime me for Disney :woohoo:

It is hot here too, Janet. Makes it really hard to pack for our trip, doesn't it?? Just as I get things washed and folded and ready to put into the suitcases, I find that we need that item again! :confused3

I am going to start packing next week. I will just have to wear whatever I have left here for the last week :rotfl:

It is so chilly outside right now, I do not like when the tempature changes so much like this.

I shouldn't have figured out how to check my children's grades on the computer:sad2: Let's just say the lesson that I thought Cassidy learned last year wasn't learned.

I am a bit stressed in work and outside of work due to some poor choices we made the last few months.........when will I learn???:confused3 :sad2:

Sorry, just had to let that out.

I haven't tried to check DS's grades through the computer. Some things are better left unknown.
I hope things turn around for you soon!!

Boy, do I know that feeling! I'm trying to tackle our own mountain of unused toys while the kids are in school. I just take a few things at a time, and deliver them to the thrift store. So far, so good. The kids have not noticed anything missing.

I am to the point that I don't care if he knows it is missing! I think we will give some things (like his Duplo blocks) to Princess and the rest will go to Good will. He has toys he really enjoys but he doesn't have any room to play with them!

High five Penny! Missed you!!!:yay:

Thank you, Glad to be back. Now, how many days did you say you had. :lmao: :lmao:
Thanks to Tammi also.
Hey there JS Girl - Hope I get to meet you at the pin event. :)
Penny

Penny, please pop in whenever you have time! No need to keep up with every post.:)
I will let you know if it looks like I will make it to the AK pin event! I would love to meet you!

Yep. All of that!;)
We are still roasting here, too. There was some dad at the preschool yesterday in a dark green TURTLENECK SWEATER and jeans. I was wondering what made him think 1) it was cold outside or 2) that he was going to be invited to a Lands End catalog photo shoot. He looked ridiculous! The moms were in shorts and T's! It wasn't just hot, it was hot and rainy. I wouldn't have been in a sweater if somebody paid me!

Nothing exciting on tap today. Princess has gymnastics, then we have some errands to run. If anybody needs a Christmas dress (infant/toddler) they have them at Sam's for $17. They are "Good Lad" brand, which is what they sell at Dillard's and some of the boutiques. I am going to get a couple for Princess and Momboss can choose which one she likes best.

Have a good day, all!:yay:

Good morning!

I am so ready for MNSSHP!!!! I made my shirt last night. Still warm here so I haven't started packing yet.

Have a great day!

yesterday RJ left for his dad's for the first time in over 2 months .. M&M has been searching thehouse yelling " RJ where are you?" since then .. Tomorrow we're going with my bestfriend, her son, SIL and her 2 kids and her mom to pick apples, pumpkins and go on a hay ride .. i'm kinda mad RJ's gonna miss out on it so i found another orchard closer to home that i'll take him to maybe for a one on one day when he gets back ... 4PM Friday can't comes soon enough. for those of you that need a little laughter i came across an evilbay ad a few months back and turns out the woman has her own blog, if anyone is interested in it here it is http://mom2my6pack.blogspot.com/ she's histerical and apparently about to release her own book .. think "cheaper by the dozen" and that's this woman's life.. but only with 6 kids lol .. well it's now almost 1 am and i'm heading to bed tomorrow's gonna be a long one .. sweet dreams everyone ...

Good Morning DDA!!!

It's almost Friday! Have fun apple picking, etc today. We've got to get planning on our family excursion to do so. It was looking like we wouldn't get to pick this year after the big freezes in March, but we found a place! A few extra :grouphug: to get you through until RJ gets home. :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:

Thanks to everyone for their kudos on Kristin's acting. I think her call back reading is today... or maybe it is tomorrow... I think I really don't know.

Kathrin called me yesterday with the good news that she has two interviews set up in Boston at the end of this month. As many of you already know it is a direction she has always wanted to go and now it looks as if it may finally happen for her. I wonder how fast this move could happen!?! :confused3

Best of luck to Kathrin! I so miss living in Boston. I hope she gets the job and can be on her way there!

Faster than you want it too, I'm sure.:sad1:

Good morning, DDA! Can someone please explain to me how my daughter spent the entire week-long trip to CA on Central Time, thus getting me up at 5-6am everyday only to return home with herself on Pacific Time, thus keeping me up until 11pm-midnight when I have to be up with Rachel at 6?!?! Good grief! I just don't get it. :confused3  :rotfl:

Yikes, it got late on me. We've got MOPS this morning, well working childcare for it anyway, so I've got to get in the shower and wake Terra. It's not much at a time, but anything that goes to Disney money is good in my book! :goodvibes

Have a good day!

Probably so... but it is time for her to move on with her life, I think. She has never lived further away from us than an hour and it has been very nice for her as well as us. I know she wants to spread her wings and it is the perfect time in her life and the career opportunity is wonderful. I think I am ready too. Of course, come May when Kristin graduates from college and takes off for parts unknown, my tune might change drastically!
