Elizabeth- We were told last night that the judges (and the audience) just weren't "getting" the extra pieces for the pit....tell your DS that I will still get him a close up of the pit and then the basses when they are being used just for him.

They are finally playing bells in class. I don't think he is going to watch the competition tonight because the schedule is just too hectic for a school night. He has a big project due Friday so he needs to finish it up, and if his workload is too much from his other classes I want him to have 2 nights to finish the project.

So I have been dealing with a migraine all day. had to call into work. its a little better now but not much. I have tried to sleep it away but no use. Thank God Jeff was off today.

Well, my wallet fared better than I expected! There really were no books that seemed right for Christmas gifts. I ended up getting each kid's teacher a book they wanted, and I bought 2 books for each kid. Not too bad. Guess I'll have to look elsewhere for Christmas ideas!

I asked DS last night what he wants for Christmas and he didn't know of a single thing. Guess it's good that we're going to WDW in December!

I know what you mean about the listings. I believe I have been listing my own pins on pin pics from at least 2003 & I think before that. It wasn't as daunting then as there weren't as many pins. I still have 3 or 4 pins I can't find on pinpics, I keep them aside and ask the "experts" from the Central Jersey Pin group. They know everything. My nephews have asked me to put their pins on pinpics. Since we are taking them to the pin event at AK next May I figure I need to do that for them. Otherwise they will be trading away great pins and not even care.

We had our last soccer game last night, and lost of course. Now we are off until playoffs start next week. Nicholas had his very first test ever last week, social studies, and got a perfect score. I hope he can keep it up over the next 18 years! Today they get their interim so I'll see how he is progressing. They have an early dismissal on Friday and are off Monday for the holiday so we are going to go to PA to visit my parents for the long weekend. I was hoping my cousin wasn't going to use his season tickets for the Steelers' game, but he is. I would love to be able to take him to a game. Oh well, I think he may have to settle for my high school football game on Friday night.

Well, then there's that...

I am still without phone and DSL. Delightful AT&T left a voice mail on the line that DOESN'T WORK saying they will come between 8 AM and 8 PM. Great. Let me arrange to sit around for TWELVE HOURS waiting for them to fix something that THEY broke! I am at work. I have a Dr. appt at 10:45, then I am coming back to work. Whatever they did to my line was done from outside, so they can fix it from outside. The leasing office said if we signed a release they would give the guy a KEY to our apartment and he could go inside UNSUPERVISED if we aren't home when he comes to fix it. Hmm, no thanks! I am tempted to switch our DSL to the kind from the cable TV company instead of the phone because then if one was broken at least the other one would still work!

Elizabeth - We had similar problems with Verizon a few months ago, although it only affected our phone lines since we have cable modem service through Cox. It always amazes me that THEY assume the problem is YOURS when you know it didn't happen until THEY did something! Good luck.

Ah, that's what you think! Did you tell her you like Tink? Because she always tries to send pins that you like. Then you wind up keeping half of them! Really, she has sent some really neat Toy Story pins from DL Paris, a super cool morphing portrait Haunted Mansion pin, and several others that DH and DS promptly claimed for their collections. If you have certain pins listed in your "wants" on PinPics she will look there to see if she has any you might enjoy. I told her we like pirates and villains and I gave her our PinPics user names and we have been very pleased with the 2 orders we have gotten.

I am back from the Dr. Hopefully I won't have to do that again until next year! She did say I have a polyp on my cervix (EEK! TMI! ) but that those are usually benign. I guess we'll find out when the labs come back.
