Hi everyone! It's been a quiet afternoon here today! Just popping in to say and mention I'm finally getting that bag I ordered 5 weeks ago. They lost the order form! I'm glad I kept track of my order!

hi everyone-
just got home from the funeral..it was a beautiful service--I still cant believe he is gone, but he was so sick that it really was a blessing..I was sitting with a couple aunts and uncles and we were really good not crying til the cemetary..he is a navy veteran and they had 2 young men salute the casket while taps was playing then folded the flag--that was quite emotional..

I came home and did my walk, exercise, and cleaning..now im just relaxing for an hour ---my aunt and uncle are going back to colorado tomorrow so were doing dininer tonght...im sure ill be around

Both probably. This one is slightly larger than my normal purse, so I can fit my camera in it comfortably now. And it zips close. (My purse only snaps.)

Sorry, I forgot to post this. Here is my kids favorite waffle recipe:

1 1/2 C. bisquick
1 C. buttermilk
1 large egg
1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1/2 C. M&M's semi sweet chocolate mini baking bits
Powdered sugar and maple syrup

Preheat waffle iron. In large bowl combine baking mix, buttermilk, egg and oil until well mixed. Spoon about 1/2 cup batter into hot waffle iron. Sprinkle with about 2 tablespoons M&M's bits; top with about 1/2 cup batter. Close lid and bake until steaming stops, 1 to 2 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve immediately with maple syrup and additional M&M's.

Makes 4 waffles.

I always have to double or triple the recipe to satisfy my kid's sweet tooth!!

Elizabeth - We had similar problems with Verizon a few months ago, although it only affected our phone lines since we have cable modem service through Cox. It always amazes me that THEY assume the problem is YOURS when you know it didn't happen until THEY did something! Good luck.

We used to loose our phone service every few months and the customer service staff would always say it was our fault. When one said that I told her that every other time it was a problem outside to which she replied that sometimes "people" tamper with the wires. About a year ago they finally replaced the line and we've had far fewer problems. Well they actually replaced the wire about 3 months before that and didn't actually hook us up to the new wire until we lost service again. We do live in a "wierd" neighborhood that was once old big estates so the lines are in backyards and stuff but the cable wires are on the same poles and we have never lost cable without loosing electricity. I think I'll stick with my cable internet for a while.

I am back from the Dr. Hopefully I won't have to do that again until next year! She did say I have a polyp on my cervix (EEK! TMI! ) but that those are usually benign. I guess we'll find out when the labs come back.

I spoke to DH a while ago and he said they were installing the new washer right then. I guess I should rush home and do laundry.


I have a big nasty revenue budget meeting all day tomorrow so I shouldn't stay up late doing laundry. I'll be glad when that meeting is over!

I really enjoyed all the pictures and videos today. It's nice taking a peek into everyones lives.

I had a better night at work tonight and I'm half way through my work week I alos managed to pack a bit today. At least I think I know what we are bringing. Of course Chris could care less what he wears, he just wants to be there.

Let's hope this stops by the time we all travel!

Still haven't got anywhere with my bank issue. I have called the police, they told me I need to go back to the bank. They are writing up a report. They have said since I did not authorize it or buy something from them they should have to give it back. I guess this is what I get for using a credit union, without a fraud department. They did say if I get no where in a few days to call them back.

The Credit Union is clueless and don't know how to handle it. If they are not helpful I might just call the police and have them come over or talk to them or something, while I am there. I feel like I a running up a never ending escalator. Let's just say I might not remain my nice, happy understanding self. Things might get ugly.

UGGGH, I really need to go to work in the morning though. This is a royal PITA.

I am sorry to keep coming here and gripping.

Becky - I wouldn't be nice. (But I am not THAT nice to begin with, so it wouldn't be a stretch. ) The bank allowed those funds to be taken out of your account, so from where I stand it is their fault.

The phone guy called me at 5:40 PM and said he was pulling up to my building. I wasn't home but DH was here. Phone guy calls back to clarify our building and unit #. Phone guy calls one more time to say he found the problem and he can't fix it. He goes on to tell me IF they had gotten to it earlier in the day it would be fixed. Nothing like a little salt in the wound. He says it will be fixed tomorrow by 8 AM. Whatever. So I watched the DVD, exited out of the program, and BAM! my DSL came back up! So now it is working just fine. Bizarre. But I'm not complaining!

My crown fell off again today. It has been THREE weeks since they took the impression for the permanent crown. He said 10-12 working days, and today was the 14th working day! I left them a voice mail. We'll see what they have to say. I am getting tired of having the old one glued back on!

I forgot DH has a 7:15 dentist appointment in the AM. I was hoping to do a few more things before my 9am all day meeting. Hope he gets out of there fast.


I looked at the 80+ page book for the washer (only about 20 pages were English). I need to do a wash without clothes first. I decided tonight wasn't a night to start that.


I got an email that my book was shipped from Kodak. I am very anxious to see that.

So DS's brochure is coming along. The problem is it is formatted to have 3 equal columns with a border around them so it doesn't fold properly. This is where a "Tri-Fold Brochure" setting would have been quite useful. Anybody know how to get the text all the way out to the very edge of the paper? I looked and I don't see anything that says "margins".
