Well, i just got some bad news--not about my grandfather...but we just found out my great uncle died. Its my grandma's (the one that lives with me)brother.
We expected this but i feel so bad for my grandmother....please keep her in your prayers

okay caught up. Not sure if I will be on tomorrow or not.

I have an OB appoitnment in the AM and its our Wedding Anniversary. 5yrs, then Sat. we will have been together 7yrs. Tomorrow is also my mom's Birthday.

Laundry is washed, dried and folded. Now for the motivation to put it away. I also managed to feed the kids so I guess the days not a total waste

I used about half of the juice from the can .. the other half went in wih the pork roast so it would get too dry ...mm yummy

I think Matthew only woke up once, early this morning (6 a.m.)...I say think, because I didn't turn on the monitor last night.

Seriously though, he only woke up once, because there's no way both Kevin and I would have slept through the fit he pitches when he wants some "night attention."

Hopefully we're back on the right track again.

Good morning/afternoon, all! I feel like I missed posting about something, but this cold of mine is feeding off of my brain cells, I think. I was hoping it was just allergies of being in a new place, but the increasingly sore throat and ear pressure isn't seeming promising for that. Better find something to ease the pressure before flying tomorrow. YIKES!

Phil ended up being free from 2pm on yesterday so we got to have some family fun together (not sure when the last time that happened was). We went to Cold Stone for ice cream and then went bowling. After that we met his brother for dinner at a really yummy Mexican place. It was a really cool place because they have a huge open courtyard in the front/middle with tons of tables. Unless the weather is bad or you ask otherwise, the general seating is out there. I've decided that is one thing I LOVE about Southern CA. Dining outside on a coolish evening with the heaters keeping you just warm enough to enjoy the beautiful evening. It was also nice for Phil to see Tom outside of the rest of the family so that they could discuss some concerns that have arisen concerning their dad, his company and some others. Not a good situation right now and very concerning to Phil, Tom and me. I'm not sure what can be done, but would covet prayers that there is a good solution.

Now we're just waiting for our old playgroup friends too arrive. Until then, I'm loving the MAW report Janet mentioned. Soooo sweet and I'm only on day 1!

I am so excited, I got my new Mickey luggage yesterday. The set is beautiful. It seems that they have updated a few things. The wheels turn in all directions, there is lots of pockets and even a plastic zipper bag that snaps on and off. The taupe color is perfect. Cannot wait to use it for this trip




Which is in 19 days!!!!!!

Anne Marie - How was your interview? There was a girl in "my" Disney Store today asking for an application. She had a ring through her nose like a bull. Perhaps she would prefer to work at Hot Topic? The manager who gave her the application explained VERY nicely that it is important to really love Disney if you are going to work there. She was working by herself today so we didn't have a chance to discuss her applicant.

Dillard's has an extra 30% off clearance prices. Luggage (Delsey and Samsonite), Crocs (Ballet flats and flip flops), and all sorts of other goodies at LOW prices. I saw the new Cars crocs - I think they look cheap. I was looking for the new Ariel Croclings for Princess but they didn't have those. My best find was my favorite Jones NY shorts marked down to $8.50 and an extra 30% off so I got shorts for $6 each! Momboss is on her way home now (BONUS - I get the afternoon off!) so i will hit the Dillard's by my house on the way home.

I just called Disney to try and get a sleigh ride for Christmas Day and they are completely booked out. Darnit. I called a month ago and couldn't do it and somehow the window slipped by me (I could have booked on the 26th).

In other news, I've been busy getting Owen's room ready to paint. If I ever go to put a border up on a wall again, please shoot me. What a hassel to take it down. But, it's down and I can get started. I peeled off the top layer and then used a solution of half water and half downy fabric softner sprayed on the glue. I was easily able to scrap it off. Only problem is that Owen's room is smelling downy fresh.
