OK - bedtime here in Virginia. Enjoy your evenings, everyone. Talk to you all tomorrow! :)

is fort collins a small town like people know everybody?

not really....it's one of the BIG college towns...but my maiden name is well known...my grandpa was a judge and has a golf tournament named after him.

We're back,
Actually we got back Sunday afternoon, but after we got the bags unpacked and the laundry started we crashed. We had a great time but a week in the heat at Disney with a 5 year old wore us out, not to mention catching the ME bus at 3:45 am. Here's a picture of Brandon at June's bench when I dropped off her rose and box.

:welcome: home Debbie. Thanks for the postcard.

Stephanie a while back you were asking about Jellyrolls & their smoking policy. They are not owned by Disney, so smoking is still allowed. Here is a thread I was reading:

HTH!
Hmmm, think I'm going to have to pass. Thanks for finding this information for me.

I don't know how I could have forgot this, but Gary has his Jimmy back :woohoo:

They called about 10 min. before 5pm & said it was ready to go. I guess the new sensor they put in was defective, so no new charge for us!

Let's keep our fingers crossed that all is good. Gary works out of town tomorrow, so we will see.
:woohoo:

My darling daughter is at evening practice...here is the link to this year's music...which looks really funny with last years costumes but hear it is:

I can't wait to see it all together!!
They sound great Theresa!!

Deb, wonderful job on the costumes.:dance3: :dance3:

Okay, I'm off to bed...

:dance3: :dance3: :dance3: 37 days people 37 days:dance3: :dance3:

sounds just terrific, Theresa! I bet it is thrilling to watch your child participate in something this amazing! That is quite a website too. I do have a question for you, though... on the "ABOUT" tab there is a list of staff. What is a Colorguard Caption Head or a Percussion Caption Head? Do they mean Captain??? It just jumped off the page at me! Oh, Amy...... ;)

I know they aren't captains...they are paid staff. Let me check it out...though I did notice they misspelled percussion at least once on that page. :rotfl2: Jess is a great percussionist but I don't think he's the best typer. :lmao:

ETA: caption head is right....but I can't find an exact meaning for them

Adian update:

September 11, 2007 at 11:03 PM CDT

Hi everyone,

I'm taken a whirl again....
There has been alot of news to report on Aidan in the past week, where to begin? Well Saturday we had a very quaint little shin dig in a room across the hall from Aidan to celebrate Aidan's 6 month birthday. I know this is not really a traditional event but we really aren't very traditional when it comes to Aidan:). So a few of our family and close friends supported us and it was just divine. Thanks to everyone who attended.
Ok, on the medical front, he has done pretty well. He is off of TPN's! That is the best of all my news.
He was hanging out on the floor on Friday, having floor time, and I picked him up as soon as I got there and realized he had a temperature. The nurses took some cultures ordered by the doctor and found out that he had a yeast infection in the central line, yuck! So, we were really close to getting the central line out but he ended up with yet another infection. The infection is being treated with antibiotics and now we wait. Hopefully they treated it all and in 2 weeks or so he will get the central line taken out. He is still having problems with his stool, so after some persistence on my end, the doctors did an x-ray and ecko. They checked all his problem areas, heart , liver, small and large intestines. They discovered this thing called Patent Ductus Arterious (PDA). I'm pretty sure this had never been brought to our attention before. The doctor I spoke with today had not seen Aidan before so I will have to investigate further whether this is a new discovery. If it truly is, it will be something that could close up on it's own or it could need surgery. I am not sure at this point.
Well that's it for tonight.

Kim - If I stumble across anything else we will eat I'll let you know!:rotfl: I like cashew chicken from the Chinese place. DS doesn't really like Chinese. We get shrimp fried rice for him but he won't eat very much of it. Tonight I stayed with Princess until almost 8 PM. DS & DH ate Burger King and I ate McDonald's that I picked up on the way home. REAL healthy!

DH won't eat shrimp or cashews and don't forget that he hates rice. You would be a dream to cook for!

Now...they will eat McDonalds and Burger King!

Tammi, how was Alyssa's dr's appointment? I wanted to chat with you at the bus stop yesterday but got cornered by the other neighbor and then the attorney that I work for called on my cell and I had to take it. :headache: Hope her appointment went okay. :wizard:

Thanks! I had never heard the term so I am now waiting to learn what it means. :)

Good Morning DDA!

Sorry that I have been MIA for awhile! I am feeling the 2 week before vacation countdown stress. I have a few things that I have to get done, so I haven't had much DIS time lately!

Me and my big ideas to make costumes for the MNSSHP.:sad2:

I have "TweedleDum" finished, now to make "TweedleDee" and the Alice costume for Leighanna.
I also have a couple of more things that I need to get done too.

My grass needs mowed, the laundry needs done, the house needs cleaned, etc.... etc... etc.... Oh, and I need to fit WORK into the equation too!

DW is in the middle of changing her store over from summer merchandise to winter, so she is trying to get that all completed before we leave too. Not much "free" time to get things done!

Please send Tinker Bell my way so that we might be able to get some things accomplished!

Good morning, DDA!

I think you guys might like the "ice wine" in Canada. It is not cheap, so I would buy one tiny glass of it to share just to see if you do. It is very sweet and served chilled.

I was going to have a glass at Le Cellier, but it was something like $8 for 3 oz. so I decided to skip it.

not really....it's one of the BIG college towns...but my maiden name is well known...my grandpa was a judge and has a golf tournament named after him.

How cool is that? I don't have anybody in my family that is famous. (At least not famous for anything good!:scared: )

:wizard: that you get everything done, Tom! :goodvibes

I'm sure you will get it all done, Tom!

I never heard back from the Dr's office yesterday, and DS's Dr. isn't in on Wednesday. I guess I will be calling them again! I am supposed to go have that crown pulled out today (what's left of it) and have the prep work done for a new one. Princess has a little bit of a cold though, so if she needs to stay home from school I will have to reschedule.

I hope everyone has a good day!:goodvibes
