I had my 1st pedicure in July & it was so relaxing! Of course the person who did it, is the person who cuts my hair. So I felt very comfortable with her.

Me too-my right foot is still trying to recover from WDW-BUT...I don't like the idea of someone touching my feet.:rotfl:

espically since one of the gift cards I can get is for rain forest cafe:)

Will you use it at a local one or save it for WDW?

Bernadette - Kids are funny about the things that scare them. DS has a vivid imagination so he can make fairly benign things scary, but he hasn't ever been a really fearful child. He used to be petrified of the vacuum cleaner. He was also really scared of the drive through car wash. Now he is worried about home invasions so he is fanatical about setting our alarm. The only ride that scares him is ToT.

I need to buy some dreft, as I need to wash some things for Virginia soon and pack my suit case for the hospital. My mom seems to think she is going to come at 36 weeks which is just 6 weeks away. Olivia came at 37.6 weeks and weighed 7lbs 12oz. With gestational diabetes Virgina has the chance to be that much at 36 weeks. Babies born to moms with Gestational diabetes tend to be bigger then normal.

Elin, what great pcicures. Sounds like a lot of fun.:goodvibes

Tammi, what an adventure! Thanks for posting pictures Elin. Tammi, what an amazing view.:goodvibes

Jen, so happy to see you. How's Olivia??:goodvibes

Deb, I would love to go to Pleasure Island on Friday. We'll already be in DTD at La Nuoba and Wolfgang Pucks. :goodvibes

Vicki, I'm going to email you the itinerary right now!:goodvibes

I'm watching Degrassi the next generation with my DGD. Seems to be a marathon on noogin. :cutie:

I completed even more tasks today. I don't know where I'm going to find my basement window well cover though. I'm going to try the Habitat resell store on Tuesday. :goodvibes :goodvibes

Adian update:

September 02, 2007 at 10:25 PM CDT

As most of you know we have waited anxiously for Aidan to feel better, but even more important then that to show that he is feeling better. Well in the last 24 hours he has done that. Yesterday and today we have watched Aidan share with us the biggest toothless grins a child could ever give. He just opens that mouth, raises the sides and almost looks like he wants to giggle.

Yesterday Naomi did another trach change and I can't believe how well she did. That girl is going to be teaching me soon what to do. She did about 90% of it by herself with two minor issues that will be corrected quite easily. Now it's my turn to do the next change.

Mya spent the night with the Grandparent's so Naomi and I just spent the early afternoon with Aidan. It was a nice time just organizing his area for the time being and then sharing time with him down on the floor. As most of y'all know I call him "my little Superman". Well while sitting on the floor he just started smiling while sitting in his bouncy. The song playing on his IPod, "Superman" by Five for Fighting. Not sure if he understood the words, but he sure did like the mellody.

We have enjoyed spending so much time with him, that we have completely forgotten to take any pictures. We will work on remembering that for tomorrow. Well we have one week and Aidan will be SIX Months Old. It's hard to believe that we have gone on this long, but I would have to believe, we are closer to the end then the beginning. Thank you for all of your continued prayer's and support.

I will wait and cash out for it when we get closer to our trip and use it at WDW as their is not one here in Austin. Not sure exactly where the nearest one is.
ETA Well I did a search and they have one in San Antonio hmm. I still think I will save it for WDW though

Wow Jennifer, you are so close! Where has the time gone? I am so excited for you :yay:

Olivia is good. We went to the waco zoo last week and she loved it. I need to download pictures and upload to photobucket. She got her first trim of her hair on Sat. All I had the lady do was trim the split ends. Every time she sees a baby she tells me we are going to have one of those in a few months right mommy:). She has not run a fever and only had a couple more spots this morning. The other ones seem to be fading already. But I could tell she did not feel her usual self as she was in my lap or right next to me all day. would not go play with her toys by herself. A couple of times I thought she would fall asleep and take a nap but as soon as she would realize she was almost out she would get down and walk around for a few minutes.

Does anyone know where to get a fan for the strollers. I remember reading about them somewhere but don't remember where. I want to get one or two before next summer. I want to take Olivia to the Zoo in Fort Worth and Sea world next summer.

Both, Chuck says. :lmao: After thinking about it, we are thinking Friday. We want to spend Sunday at Epcot hanging out with Terry & Stephanie and I don't want to be exhausted. Saturday, we don't really have any plans other than meals.

Since somewhere back about 200 pages ago, Deb stated that sleep was not an option this trip.:lmao: :lmao: Terry and I planned on PI on Friday, up for breakfast at Cape May and then Jellyrolls on Saturday evening.:lmao: Ah yes, up early to Kona Cafe and then EPCOT all day Sunday with you and Chuck. :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: Le Cellier that evening, stagger back to BC. We figured we could sleep in Monday....:goodvibes

onestepahead used to have one but they now say it is unavailable :confused3

They were selling one at Disney that had big Mickey hands as the clamp but I didn't look to see how much is was.

I bet Olivia would be old enough to handle a hand held one that also sprays water. The blades are just foam. Emma did fine with one on our trip-other than getting herself soaking wet. They are about $5 at Walmart-about $9 at CVS, Walgreens, RiteAid.

I've been adding borders all night and now the disneyphotopass site says I have no pictures in my account.:scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

I've got to assume they are just doing maintainance but why couldn't they say that instead of "your account has no photos"????

I guess that should be a sign to go to bed!

i agree with that statement. teachers ARE so underpaid, underappreciated and overworked its crazy. then the thing that irritates me is all the extra c*** that the government wants the teachers to do and kids to learn. during my observations while in college stuff i learned in 2 grade kindergarten was learning. i was shocked. some of the stuff to me is not developmentally appropriate. let a 6 year old be a 6 year old not 8.

i agree--im shocked sometmes when lookng at the curriculum for certain ages...seems SO different than when i was in elementary school

all caught up !

I ended up at the picnic from about 3-midnight..we had a blast, b ut i am EXHAUSTED!! We had our annual tournament--i lost, but we did really good--i think we came somewhere between 10-15 place out of 27..SO not bad at all!

m planning on doing NOTHING tomorrow!! hopefully ill sleep in

have a great night all!

I'll be heading to bed too once Becky gets home from work. Chuck picked out a bad movie so I'm going to have to read something good or watch something good before going to sleep. I have to have good thoughts before falling asleep or I can have nightmares. I can't believe I'm 45 years old and still have nightmares.

As soon as you can get it at Blockbuster, rent Wild Hogs. Funniest movie I've seen this year....:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Good Morning Everyone,

I'm up early, I never can sleep before a trip, I"m too afraid that I'll oversleep and miss the flight so I end up not goetting much sleep at all.

Guess I'll go ahead and get myself ready before trying to get Brandon and DH going.

See ya next week!

Good morning, DDA! :sunny:

It was tough to get on the DIS this morning!
