I had a very nice time with my friend. She did go through the product presentation but I told her I am really not interested and that was the end of it.

:thumbsup2

Glad you had a great day, Elin! :goodvibes

We hiked to the top of Old Rag Mountain in the Shenandoah National Park. 8 miles. My legs are so sore, but the day was wonderful and the views were worth it.

:thumbsup2 I love hiking Old Rag.

Kim - Did you hear anything about the yard sale?

One of the board members said that she thought that it was the second weekend in October. I'll call Landmark tomorrow and will find out.

Did you see the letter that went out about the bus driver? :headache:

What a great day!!:goodvibes

Sounds like an awesome day and :wizard: that your washer gets fixed.

I worked tonight, it was pretty slow and the tips were horrible.

Sorry, Deb. I use to waitress and it amazed me that big groups of people (like 20-25) would come in and leave $1-2 and a huge mess.

I can't believe I'm 45 years old and still have nightmares.

I had a nightmare the other night that someone kidnapped the kids while I was putting away a grocery cart in the parking lot. It was so real. I couldn't go back to sleep.

Good morning :)

Bernadette I hope you still have pictures this morning

Stephanie I watched Wild Hogs a couple of weeks ago & thought it was pretty funny!

Jen glad to hear you had a good time!

My laundry is still on a UPS truck somewhere. :lmao: I suppose I should have done the 4 loads that I do have calling my name but I've still got tomorrow. I forgot to take the tracking receipt from my boxes so I hope they really do make it home but who would want my dirty clothes?

I am working on adding special borders to all my photopass photos. I am up from the original 369 to over 1,000 and I've still got about 100 photos to add boders too. It is painfully slow and gets slower and slower as I add more photos.

Lizzy wanted a new backpack this year. She wanted a nice plain navy one. She's moving up to a new school and I think she's afraid the big kids will tease her if she uses her princess or pooh backpacks. I found her a nice one at Marshals and they had a rolling Cars backpack on clearance for $10 that I got for Emma. She had a rolling Sponge Bob one but it was very small and really too small for a full size coloring book. SO I really had to get Joe a new one too.

I took Lizzy to Talbots yesterday too. I got her a really nice dress, shorts for next year, birthday gifts for MIL, pants and shorts for Joe, and some accessories. All very good prices!

Lizzy got a supplies list for the first time this year. She needed a pencil box, scissors, crayons, pencils, odor free dry erase markers, an eraser or old sock. I'm glad I already bought most of the stuff on those crazy sales (1 cent pencils, 20 cent crayons....). The dry erase markers were the only thing I didn't have. The list said 5 so Lizzy didn't want me to buy the 4 pack.:confused3 I got the 12 pack but told her she could only take 5 to school.

She has to bring a 12 x 18 "all about me" poster to school so we'll be making that tomorrow. Joe has to fill out an "all about me" questionare. They start on Tuesday. Emma has a special aquarium event at her school Friday, has short days next Mon & Tue and starts her regular schedule next Wednesday. She'll go Mon through Thu 12:30 to 3:00. She'll have the same wonderful teachers Joe had his second year.
Well I hope your laudry arrives soon...You are right, the photopass website is slow. I was adding borders & cropping & each picture takes too long to load (& my pc is very fast) But I got it done & the CD is on its way. I found a few pictures that will be used for our Christmas cards.
Good luck going back to work & the kids school, we start Wed.

Hi everyone. We had a long and exhausting day. I'm going back to catch up. Hope everyone is well.

Welcome home, Anne Marie!
Hi Tammi!

We are home from a delightful day in Richmond.
Sounds like a beautiful day.

What a great day!!:goodvibes

Oh, and the best for last, my littlest grandson called me ga ma!!!!
That is sweet!!!

I've been adding borders all night and now the disneyphotopass site says I have no pictures in my account.:scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

I've got to assume they are just doing maintainance but why couldn't they say that instead of "your account has no photos"????

I guess that should be a sign to go to bed!
I hope your pictures are back up now.

I hated the Disney Photopass site. It kept eating the pictures that I had edited and added borders to. I also tried to make one of the books and it would never save the pages. I wasted so much time. I just ordered the pictures and said forget everything else. It was really frustrating. :headache:

i agree--im shocked sometmes when lookng at the curriculum for certain ages...seems SO different than when i was in elementary school

Shane was studing geometry in the 2nd grade last year. When I was looking at it, he told me "I know you don't know how to do this. You studied it in high school." :lmao: He was right. :guilty:

Did you see the letter that went out about the bus driver? :headache:
Yes, what is up with that? Nicholas has never complained at all about the driver, and when I saw the letter I was :confused3 . Is that why you always drove Shane? Maybe I'm clueless because he never rode the bus that much.

So I think we are going to the pool today, since it will be our last chance. Then we will cook burgers on the grill for dinner.

How are you feeling this morning Tammi?

How are you feeling this morning Tammi?
Every part of me, from the waist down, aches. I wish I lived in a rambler. I need to do laundry and I keep putting off going upstairs to get the baskets. :rotfl:

Good morning, DDA! It is cloudy here this morning. DS and I just woke up!

I've been adding borders all night and now the disneyphotopass site says I have no pictures in my account.:scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

Oh, my!:scared1: I hope they come back!

i agree--im shocked sometmes when lookng at the curriculum for certain ages...seems SO different than when i was in elementary school

There has been a big push for curriculum to "trickle down" so that Kindergarten is much more academic. I guess that's because so many kids are in preschool and have learned the basics already.:confused3 DS and all of his friends started preschool when they were 2, so I don't know any child who hadn't already been going to school for years before Kindergarten.

As soon as you can get it at Blockbuster, rent Wild Hogs. Funniest movie I've seen this year....:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

We'll have to do that! The previews were really cute!

Some of DS's homework is hard. They introduced "algebra" type stuff back in 2nd grade using letters in the equations. So far this year it isn't hard, it just takes forever. The other night he had to write out a bunch of numbers in their "word" form.:headache:
That sounds like a scary nightmare! Every once in awhile I will have one that is so real I can't sleep afterwards.

Bernadette - I hope your dirty clothes come back soon!:rotfl2:

Hopefully the pool will help relax your muscles :wizard:

Tammi,
Hope the pool makes you feel better. Have fun!

Its too cold to swim here today..in the high 60's-low70's.

Disney Shopping has 20% off today. And free shipping on pins since it is Monday.:rolleyes1 The cheapest pins are $6, though, so not a great price for traders.
