Not much on the agenda today other than getting caught up on the housework and stuff. I need to get Emma packed for tonight and tomorrow as my inlaws are keeping her overnight. I predict an early bed time as Eric and I have to be up at 3:30am to get ready to leave here by 4:45am. Have a great Sunday everyone!!
Deb, Anne Marie, & Bernadette - Pirate & Princess tickets go on sale Tuesday, May 1. AP & DVC discounts are Aug. 15, 21, and one other day that I just forgot.![]()
So I had a friend ask me yesterday how I felt about the whole house buying process. I told her no matter the outcome I never, ever want to go through this ever again!!!![]()
I just got off the phone with Jim.....we won't know anything definitive until probably MONDAY!!!He said you just want this done. Yup....I don't care what the answer is I want to know it NOW!! If it's no...I want to be able to go out and rent something this weekend. If it's yes...I need to get everything together to move by next Saturday!!

Hi everyone...
Just got in the door and settled after being gone what seems like all day. Molly had her recheck for her ear infection this morning which is thankfully all cleared up. We spent 2 1/2 hrs total between travel time and waiting for the doctor for a 5 min visit. We then came home and did lunch and naptime as I had to be at Emma's school for her exercise fundraiser. The parents had to be there at 2:30pm and then kids, about 130 of them, started exercising at 3pm til about 4:30pm. All of the kids raised over $9000 which I think is awesome. They then fed all the kids pizza and we scarfed that down, dropped Emma's friend off, ran home to pick Mo up and got to her gymnastics by 5:30pm. Thankfully, the day went smoothly. I am however beat. Not to mention that my reflux has decided to act up which has sent me over the edge with gagging spells and a horrible cough and other unpleasantries. I certainly can understand why Molly is so crabby, this is for the birds!!
I finally got a message about her endoscopy on Monday. We have to be at the hospital by 6am and the procedure is at 8am. Since the hospital is in DC that means we have to leave here at 4:30am.Emma is hopefully staying with the inlaws because even though 2 of my girlfriends have offered to watch Emma in the morning there is no way that I can drop her off at 4:15am.
I am sending everyone's and
I will try to catch up a little later this weekend. We are headed to the National Zoo tomorrow with the girls and possibly to friend's on Sunday for a cookout. I hope everyone has a great weekend.
I invited our DD and DGS over for lunch, we are going to grill burgers. Althoug if I have to cook and clean up afterwards that's really not a day off.
Well, with one phone call (yes Kathrin is also a morning person!) my day has changed! I am headed to the shower to get ready to drive to Richmond for a day of shopping and lunch at a great mall... Short Pump Center. It has most of my favorite stores, including COLDWATER CREEK and Nordstrom's.![]()
Hope you all have a great day! See you later on tonight.![]()
Morning DDA!
My house is a mess. Still have a ton of laundry. Didn't get to sleep until 1am - now am up for the SECOND bridal shower (for Christine, my friend I've known from High School). Thank goodness I'm not hosting this one!
I can't wait until next Saturday to where I can sleep in!
....now I have to find something else to wear!I wore my pink shirt yesterday! HA!
Thanks for the prayers everyone. You hate to admit things like this, but Meme was by far my favorite grandparent. I was her first grandchild and she always took time to tell me that I had a special place in her heart. It may be a long day, but I'm doing okay. I had a rough night's sleep between the heartache and a small-town motel bed. Today, I have to tell Terra about Meme and I don't know how I'm going to get through that.
We are headed out to the lake to help set up for the wedding in a little while so at least we'll all be busy. The wedding family is not related, but the bride's parents have known mine for so long that they were close to my grandma as well.
Terra and I may stay on in OK for a little while, depending on what is needed there. Since we have no committments at home, I want to be available if needed. My computer access may be sporadic, but I'll pop in when I can.
Thank you all!![]()

Steffy - I am sure you are gone by now, but your DGD is in my thoughts. I can't even imagine how hard this must be for here![]()
Good luck with Molly's test tomorrow. It sounds like an exhausting day for all of you.
Way to go Riley!!! Now it's your turn Garrett
We've had a busy day. The garage is cleaned though I still need to return a truckload of cans and bottles. I'll get to it this week. I'm feeling better and I've already fed the family dinner. I also got a few shirts made. I haven't bought any blank shirts for myself yet, that's on my to do list. Here are pictures of the finished outfits.

I think they came out pretty well. I just wish the Navy was a bit darker on Nick's shirt. It looked almost black on the screen, but didn't print that darkIt still looks good though.
Deb
Happy Sunday everyone.
Had a great day Saturday @ Busch Gardens.
It is worth the drive about 90 min. from my place.
The rides, shows, animals are a lot of fun.
This was the 2nd time Ramiro & have been.
We love it, will do again & again.
I'll post some pictures later.
Update on Aidan:
What a great day it was today! We actually got to touch our son WITHOUT gloves! They are now allowing parents to actually touch their children without any sort of plastic barrier. We still must wear the gowns, but we actually get to feel their soft skin.
He is also off of all assisted oxygen, and is tolerating his new feedings quite well. According to his staff they are very pleased with his progress and it looks like the week after next we will be going back down for his last surgery. This will be the time that they re-connect and we can then work towards feeding and coming home.
We posted some new pictures from today's visit. {Hope Mac doesn't mind!}
