Shopping! YAY! is right!! I had a BALL today. I had 4 sales people plus both daughters helping me at Coldwater Creek for about 2 hours. I did not buy as much as I had wanted, but I did pretty well. :rolleyes1

Elin- Congrats on hitting the 100 pounds:banana: :cool1: :cheer2: I am so proud of you. I am sure you bought some much needed clothing. You are such an inspiration to me.

I understand the whole feeling like you try on everything and not buying enough. I have been going through that myself recently. Although I have been struggling big time, but I still needed smaller clothing. I have gained about 5 to 10 pounds since January. I have been having a difficult time finding much needed summer clothing as I threw everything away at the end of last summer. As size 24 clothing won't cut it, considering the new stuff has been about a size 14.:woohoo:

Didn't mean to steal your thunder, Congrats again Elin.

Hi everyone--im hiding in my room tonight--im SO frustrated with my brother and hes angry and im angry so its best to hide in here for now..so i have a feeling ill be online for a bit tonight!

Thanks, Becky. Isn't it so tough when you get ready to get dressed for the day and you realize that you have nothing that fits? I have a pair of cut-offs I bought at Walmart last summer that were really small, even though they were marked a 22W. I also have 2 pair of pedal pusher length shorts I bought at Kohl's at the end of the summer that I purposely shrunk in the dryer after I took them to WDW in December. They ought to work OK for a little while, at least. I am buying size large tops and actually looked at a medium before I put it back and rethought. I still have some "stuff" I need to camouflage and that medium would not have worked for that task.

I have issues with leftover skin that probably won't permit me to wear a lot of things I might like to. My daughters today talked to me about having surgery to correct this like the salesclerk at Coldwater Creek had done. I just don't see myself doing that. If I had to have surgery for another important issue I might be persuaded to have some of it taken care of, but I am not that unhappy with the way I look and any surgery carries some risk. It is not something that is that important to me.

Before I started this diet I was wearing size 32 pants. Today I bought size 18. It has still not sunk in with me, I think. I am just so delighted to hear you are buying size 14s! :cool1: WOW!

One reason I needed quite a few new things is that this past week I hit the 100 pound milestone of weight lost. There was a sales clerk there who had gastric bypass surgery who has lost 190 pounds! :thumbsup2 We had so much fun picking out things that she understood would fit and flatter the figure I have now, which is a lot smaller, but a lot less "firm." Let's say those leftover traveler's cheques from the December trip certainly came in handy today!

Elizabeth - I hope you got to go to the zoo and grill out!

I just love to hear all of these weight loss success stories. 100 lbs is a whole person. You must feel so much better, I know that you look wonderful. Becky has done amazingly well too. I know how hard it is to stay on track, it is certainly a daily struggle at best. You ladies are an inspiration to us all :woohoo:

Let's just say it hasn't sunk in with me either. I never really wore this size before as I went straight from kids plus sizes to about a 16 women's size.

I found a swimsuit top yesterday, I got a size 16 tall. It isn't quite as long as I would like and I could have gotten away with a 14 tall except that was even shorter yet. Considering it was only $6.99 I don't really care. I do need to find bottoms though as the biggest size they had that would go with it was a size 10. I will need to find bottoms by the start of June as I am going white water rafting.

Hope you & your brother get things worked out Jen :wizard:

Thanks, Jennifer! I wish you were feeling better. How is that gorgoues little princess of yours?

shes doing great. she seems to be really excited about becoming a big sister. she comes up to my stomach every day and asks where is baby. After I point out where baby is she then puts her head on my stomach and either says I love you baby or I mised you baby if I have been at work all day. Sometimes she will ask me what baby said. I tell her baby says Hi Sissy.

Oh how sweet :goodvibes

Thank you again for all your help Stephanie.

I still have to decide if I am taking either of the 2 classes I am registered for this summer.

Well, my oldest son called me today and said that they had put in a bid on a house. I was not aware they had been seriously looking but he said they put in a counter offer and were waiting for an answer. He also asked me if I would be able to help watch the boys so they could get their place ready and of course I said yes.

well,,,,,they got the house!!! :woohoo: :woohoo:   :cool1: :cool1: :dance3: :cheer2: :dance3: :woohoo:

Update on Aidan:

What a great day it was today! We actually got to touch our son WITHOUT gloves! They are now allowing parents to actually touch their children without any sort of plastic barrier. We still must wear the gowns, but we actually get to feel their soft skin.

He is also off of all assisted oxygen, and is tolerating his new feedings quite well. According to his staff they are very pleased with his progress and it looks like the week after next we will be going back down for his last surgery. This will be the time that they re-connect and we can then work towards feeding and coming home.

We posted some new pictures from today's visit. {Hope Mac doesn't mind!}

Not much on the agenda today other than getting caught up on the housework and stuff. I need to get Emma packed for tonight and tomorrow as my inlaws are keeping her overnight. I predict an early bed time as Eric and I have to be up at 3:30am to get ready to leave here by 4:45am. Have a great Sunday everyone!!
Great picture!

:wizard: Good luck tomorrow.

I knew Garrett was going through a growing spurt, I just didn't realize how much. Not only is his voice slowly changing, but he is now 1 inch taller than me

This is his Spring picture from school

What a handsome young man. I didn't realize that lots of other schools had spring photos. Lizzy & Joe just had theirs taken last week.
