Well, Disneyland in October is very pleasant, and usually quite vacant! Just a thought.....

DH does have his actual birthday off, but it is a week where he only has 2 days off, not 3. There is no way we could travel anywhere at all. Especially just 2 months after a big WDW trip!

Whew! All caught up!

Somehow I pinched a nerve in my back yesterday, and spent the majority of the day flat on my back! What pain!!! Today was a little better, but it still hurts.

Sound like everyone had great weekends. It was rainy here most of the weekend, so we were all a bit gloomy. It is supposed to get better throughout the week, so I'm looking forward to a bit of sunshine!

I hope your back feels better soon! Mine was feeling a little odd, then I gave Brother a bath this afternoon so now it is just plain sore!

ACK!!! There is nothing worse than STARTING a vacation with stress! I hope everyone makes it to the airport in time and that everyone has fun!

Bernadette, I would be furious! I hope it all turns out OK!

Well, my evening hasn't been too great. Momboss called this afternoon and she asked how my interview went. I told her it went well but I don't think the family is going to be able to meet my salary requirements. So she asked if they DO offe me what I want in salary when will I leave? I told her around June 1, and she wigged out! She said they are going to start looking for a replacement NOW, and if they find someone to start on June 1 then that's what they are going to do and if this family doesn't hire me I won't have a job! Nothing is going to happen for AT LEAST 6 weeks! And they can get a temp with only about 1 day's notice! Luckily my friend called and said she would be happy to take over my job whenever I am hired on with a new family. She is a SAHM (former nanny) who has been watching a little boy in her home. That little boy's mom announced today that she is quitting her job, so my friend is able to work whatever hours my bosses would need her, whether it is all day or just in the afternon after camp.

I have not heard a peep from the family I interviewed with, and I have to think that is bad.

I bought 12 pins from eBay on Friday night. The seller shipped them Saturday and they arrived today! Well, some of the ones we bought from him were duplicates of ones we already had and we started comparing. We have a BUNCH of "scrapper" and/or counterfeit pins. We started looking at them REALLY carefully, checking the back stamps against the pins on PinPics. It is true that when you hold up a "fake" next to an authentic pin you can see the difference. And we can trace our fakes back to one seller in particular. I am tempted to go see what she has up for auction right now, just to confirm my hunch. I can honestly say we are NOT buying any more pins from eBay.

Yep, that seller is absolutely, 100%, without a doubt selling scrapper pins. She is one fo those who has 4 or 5 sets that she auctions off over and over and over again. Several of the sets contain the same exact pins we bought from her, and I know they are fake.

If anyone is thinking of buying eBay pins please PM me so I can tell you who the seller is.

I didn't notice the Donald at first but then he popped out at me, even before I was looking. But on first glance or two, nope, I didn't notice. The Pluto and Mickey are a little more obvious. They blend in nicely with the foliage pattern.

I'm going to cancel my Wolfgang Puck's dinner reservation and keep the LTT. Pucks is great for adults, but the kids want dinner with Goofy!! And I count myself in with them. Plus, I really want to be in the MK that night.

I'm so sleepy.
