I have the original .doc here at work. Tammi - I'm going to forward it back to you again. I have no idea how the document got changed...

Well it's that time of day today. Time for me to log off and get my butt ready for work. Have a nice evening everyone.

Deb

So today was the day for the bowling awards. This was much anticipate in our house. First up was the Bantams. Colby's team (and Summer's too) placed 4th out of 5 teams. All teams got a trophy so they were very pleased

Then came the Prep division

Yep, they took first place in their division. I think there were 8 teams. You should have heard the yelps that came out of those boys when it was announced. :goodvibes

Then it moved on to individual awards. We expected none this year. We were mistaken though

Colby was taken by surprise when he won a trophy for Highest Game with a handicap his score was a 174 :thumbsup2

Then again we were surprised

When Colby won the most improved player award for Bantams
BowlingAwards017.jpg

His teenaged "friend" came over to congratulate him
BowlingAwards019.jpg

He had two teenagers that would come to his lane and cheer him on every time he bowled for the last several weeks. He was so small, the youngest bowler out there so he really won a few hearts this year and the roar of the crowd when he won brought tears to my eyes. He will also receive a new bowling ball and bag as a prize with the most improved player award. I guess it makes sense as he had a hard time getting the ball all the way down the lane for at least 1/2 the season and today he bowled his first strike. He has come a long way. He has also been asked to bowl in the state tournament in a couple of weekends. Nick and Hunter were already bowling in it so they knew he would be there.

OK enough bragging from this proud mom. I'm off to work.

Deb
Congrats to the Brooks Boys. :cheer2:

Deb, Congratulations to all the boys for the bowling!

Anne Marie, sorry to hear about Katie, hope she feels better fast!

Kristine, the vacation looked like fun, thanks for posting pics!

And now here is my completed project for today:

I am very pleased with how it came out, even though there are a few minor flaws that I don't think anyone else will notice... hopefully :teeth:

Elin it looks adorable.

Do you know which one?

I think it is the Goofy one? She said they are staying Thursday night at the Disneyland Hotel, and the breakfast is in the hotel on Friday morning.

Elizabeth, it sounds like you are having an extremely busy day! I hope it goes smoothly for you!

Well, Brother decided to throw a royal rage at the grocery store, so that was REALLY fun! The HUGE Kosher grocery store is so NOT the place to go on the major Jewish holidays. Yet somehow I ALWAYS end up there, with the kids, and I wonder HOW that keeps happening to me.:confused3

Both kids are sleeping now. Brother fell asleep in the car. Guess the tantrum took all of his energy. I'll get them up at 3 PM, get them bathed, and go from there. I am slowly slogging my way through the stupid laundry.:laundy: At least if I don't get the towels washed it doesn't matter - they don't need to pack those! I am not 100% sure which bag I need to use for the kids, either, so I can't actually start packing. At least once the laundry is done I can start making my little stacks. Sister was pestering me to let her pack her toys, but this is NOT like packing toys to go in the car. I will have to monitor each and every thing that goes in the bag since it is going on the plane.

Oh, and something is wrong with the water lines. Brother's toilet was gurgling, and now there is no water in it.:scared1: That has happened before, because this house is plumbed funny. But I don't have time to worry about it right now!

We got a call from Sophie's soccer coach last week that he would be going away & that his assitant was also going away. He asked Dana is he wouldn't mind coaching the girls this past Sunday..so Dana says sure. Well, Katie gave Dana her bug & he woke up yesterday throwing up. Soooooo guess who had to coach the girls soccer? Me!!! Yep, the most out of shape SAHM in all of my county!:lmao: It was their first game of the season, I couldn't cancel it. Sophie was so excited about going.

I went to a coaches training session with 5 Dads. This soccer guy who looked like he was a pro taught us what to do. At first when the parents came they were like "You are the coach?" (It's usually a Dad.) Anyway, I did dribble drills, we played Bulldog, & Candy Shop. I divided them up & they had a practice game. For 6 year olds, these girls can play soccer man!!!! Anyway, when it was over, the parents came over & said how well I did & the main coach who runs the whole thing came over too. I asked the girls if they had fun & they all screamed "yes!!!" Wow!!!! I felt so good. :dance3:

I came home, watched most of the Disney marathon yesterday with my family. That was my Sunday!:thumbsup2

:cheer2: Yay for you, Anne Marie!!! :cheer2: I think that is one of my nightmares!

Hi everyone, I know I have not been posting or lurking lately. I am trying to graduate, and I have already failed a few tests, so my nose is in the books for the rest of the semester. I just wanted to let you all know that I will be back in force after graduation in May. Again, I know that I just started posting here, but I hope you all remember me. :goodvibes And don't forget me.

 Hi, Shannon!

We have the week after Easter for spring break.

We have Good Friday plus the week after Easter off. Last year, we had only Good Friday and the Monday after Easter off. Of course, Matthew has to be at track practice from 9:00-11:00 am Tues-Fri, so we can't actually go anywhere for the week.

Just stopping in to say hi. I gotta get back to working on schoolwork and then back to work. Hope everyone is having a great day.

Just got home from work, but I did not get the email.

Elin, Tammi, Chanon, & Janet..

Just sent you a email...let me know if you can see the schedule for Oct. :cool2:

WTG Anne Marie! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

WELCOME BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good morning, Friends!:)

OK. I need some BIG help. Brother & Sister are going to DL!! In 2 weeks.:scared1: For one day.:scared: I need your help because I know NOTHING about DL. And I know Glynis is our resident DL expert, but she has gone to see her mom! So I have to have as much input from you guys as possible so my sweet pirate: and princess: have the best experience they can. I know, I know. Short notice, high crowds, I know.

Janet - We are so happy to have you home safe and sound! I am so sorry about the break-in! Thanks so much for the postcard and the updates - everything looked magnificent!

Chanon - Very good. Keep me posted.

Elin - Good luck with the plumber!:wizard:

Stephanie - Brother tries not to pee on Lightning McQueen, but it does happen on occasion!:rotfl2: Congrats to DGS!

Deb - Love the goose! I hope you get to feeling better soon!

Brother & Sister have no school today, but the weather is kind of iffy. Very cloudy with a little breeze. Not too chilly, but it looks like rain. Sister wants to go to the mall later. I might have to buy her some princess gear for the trip.:)

I'm back now! PM me if they still need advice!

Olivia has 102.3 fever.
shes complaining that her tummy hurts.

I bought Tylenol meltaways to try to get her to take. I cant get her to take them. I have tried bribing her with candy, and sprite but no good.

She's a bit strong willed isn't she??

Both my girls hated taking meds when they were younger. They got sick so infrequently that it was foriegn to them. Finally they got to an age that I was able to reason with them (usually;) )...do you want to keep feeling yucky or do you want to feel better? You have to take the medicine to feel better....no grumping allowed if you don't take the med.
