Sounds good, I have never eaten there. Of course John and I don't eat out a lot, he prefers my cooking to anyones.

We don't eat out much either. Dh always says that my cooking is better than the restaurants. Plus, he just isn't overly social and would rather be at home. And he is frugal...

Thanks for all the nice comments about my pictures. We had such a lovely day! I'm so glad that we got a few nice pictures of the kids. While we were at church, Leslie got really sick; high fever, cough and headache. Alan had to bring her home before Sunday School. Poor baby! She was still really feverish when I got home with the other kids, and didn't feel like eating. Totally not fair, since she also got sick on Christmas. What's with that girl?

:wizard: for Leslie! I hope that she is feeling better now.

So I asked Dadboss what they decided to do about Brother's school in the Fall. If they were going to accept that slot for him the payment had to be in Thursday of last week, so either they paid it or they didn't! They didn't. So here we are.

Now I am getting skittish. On the one hand I would LOVE to not worry about it and get as close to Sept. 1 as humanly possible. On the other hand, if I zip along for the next couple of months turning down interviews I could find myself in the unemployment line on Sept. 1. I imagine that would be unpleasant. I need to call my agent tomorrow and tell her my bosses declined the offer for Brother and I am DEFINITELY going to need a job no later than Sept. 1. I hemmed and hawed about asking to go ahead and meet the family who needs someone to start in May, but the drive would be bad. I don't think I could even get there by 8:15 AM, which is the start time they listed. Well, I will see what the agent has to say. If she thinks it would be good for me to meet them I will.

pixiedust: that something perfect will come your way! I'm sorry that you will have to say goodbye to Brother and Sister in September.

Here is a picture from our Easter day.

You all look terrific, Tammi! Your kids are looking so grown up. Everyone looks so happy!

We got preliminary loan approval....and if it works out.....should be home owners shortly. We saw 4 houses.....first 2 we LOVED!! third Jane said needed "TLC"...I said it's more like a handyman's paradise....scary!! and the fourth was just to dang small. We'll see 2 more tomorrow.

Grandma thrives when she is in control...poor thing thinks she's in control right now. :rotfl2:

let me see if I can find a website for the one we'll probably put a bid in for.

CONGRATULATIONS! I will keep praying that the perfect situation comes along for you!

Does anyone do any rewards sites, like MyPoints, that they find worth their time? I am looking for little things that I can do to start saving for whenever my next Disney trip will be, but don't want to do something that is going to require a lot of time. I find that my MyPoints add up to a meal or two pretty quickly, but haven't looked at a lot of the other sites in several years. If you have a recommendation, can you PM me a refferal link? Thanks!!

ACK... ignore my PM, Tia! :rotfl: :rotfl: I did not read well enough.

I think I'm caught up. I thought that I would never catch up, but that could be because I kept posting and adding pages! Sorry to everyone that has to wade through my P3! I didn't realize that I responded that much!

Sending prayers, :wizard: and  :grouphug: to all of you.

I am fed up with this stinkin' paper. I truly hope I finish it in time. I am going to try to go to bed so I can get up bright and early to hopefully finish it before work at 1:30pm.

I got up this morning worked on it, went to work came home at 7:30pm and have been sitting at this computer working on it ever since. Not even sure I can get out of my seat as my butt is asleep.

I wish I would have had more time to work on it, but nope professor only gave details one week before its due. I am guessing it is going to be 40 to 60 pages or more. We have had details for our final written exam probably for 3 weeks already but not for the final paper until a week before it is due Final paper is worth more points and we have less time to work on it. Why would a professor make it due two days after a holiday.

Plus I got Aunt Flo today and have a bad case of reflux.

OK I need to stop my whining and venting and get my butt into bed. Thank you for listening to my whining and venting. Hopefully I will get some sleep, be calmer, more relaxed and able to successfully complete this paper.

Have a good night everyone.

:wizard: :wizard: On the paper

I followed a link in someone's siggie earlier today and found what looks to be a great planning tool available soon. I contacted them about being in the Alpha Test group so we'll see what comes of it. If you want to check it out:
www.mousemanager.com
That looks interesting. I don't think I have time to be an Alpha Tester, but I'll have to check it out again when it is up and running
I spent all day yesterday trying to figure out a way to justify (and pay for) a trip the week before school starts. I just couldn't do it. :sad2:
We have done that a few times for an October trip. Unfortunately it just isn't in the cards. At least we have 2 trips in the works :thumbsup2

We also hit the road about noon yesterday, and our visit was much too quick, too!

I keep thinking I need to cover my grey, but I haven't worked up the nerve yet. Plus I really don't want to do something that I'm going to have to keep up with, because I know that I won't.

I used the Loving Care temporary color. It is supposed to last for 6 - 12 washes. I've been told this is a good way to go if you are bad about upkeep because it comes out uniformly so you don't have to touch up the root like you do with permanent coloring.

:wizard: :wizard: Theresa it is good to hear that you are making progress. I think being a home owner would be such a perfect move at this point in your life. I hope you can find a home that will suit your needs and that is available immediately. I also hope this won't change your trip plans. :wizard:

Elizabeth :wizard: :wizard: Good luck with the job search.

Well, they didn't come home thinking it was horrible, which was kind of what they thought about Sea World last summer. They did enjoy it enough to go back, so I am pleased about that. Momboss said she thinks they allow too many people in and that it is very expensive. Well, it IS expensive no matter how you look at it, and at Easter it is bound to be PACKED, so I am sure it was crowded. Hopefully next time they will give me some lead time so I can help them plan. I will say for only planning 2 weeks ahead it didn't sound too bad!

Can you imagine what would have happend with that kind of crowd if you hadn't helped them? After going during one of the busiest times of the years, any other time is going to seem quiet and slow!

Sorry to hear that your work plans are still up in the air. I was really hoping they would get two slots for both kids at the schools where you could stay with them. Sending lots of PD for your job search!

I GOT MY MAGICAL EXPRESS INFO TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! makes the trip REALLY seem like its getting close..

Congrats! I hope you have fun today.

That is terrific news! I hope it all works out, and very soon!

Tammi and Glynis -- cute pictures! Thanks for sharing them!

Becky -- Sending PD that your paper is finished on time.

Lindsay -- I'm sorry you were under the weather over the weekend! That really stinks! Sending PD for you as well!

After freezing again last night at the baseball game, the weather is gradually warming up to near 80, then cooling down to the 50s on Saturday. I feel like I need half of my closet in my car just to be ready for the snow/rain/cold/hot weather lately!

Morning DDA! Today is audit day at work...Should be fun! :teeth:

Morning Chanon

We had our audit about three weeks ago, but today we have people in checking our records for our child care programs that we have. That will be a two or three day thing. :goodvibes

I told Jimmy that this couldn't....wouldn't mess with our vacation. WE NEED THIS!!! Plus the part we've already paid for isn't moveable to a time we can go later. So like it or not you will be seeing me in July.

I did that in Billings for what is now known as Early Head Start...we got to do a facilities audit....better than a number audit any day.

With that I have to get some work done!!

Have a good day all.

So Bob has informed me that after watching the planning video that he wants to go to a Disney waterpark, go parasailing and go to Pleasure Island, all of which I've never done. OY!!
