We got preliminary loan approval....and if it works out.....should be home owners shortly. We saw 4 houses.....first 2 we LOVED!! third Jane said needed "TLC"...I said it's more like a handyman's paradise....scary!! and the fourth was just to dang small. We'll see 2 more tomorrow.

Grandma thrives when she is in control...poor thing thinks she's in control right now.

So I asked Dadboss what they decided to do about Brother's school in the Fall. If they were going to accept that slot for him the payment had to be in Thursday of last week, so either they paid it or they didn't! They didn't. So here we are.

Now I am getting skittish. On the one hand I would LOVE to not worry about it and get as close to Sept. 1 as humanly possible. On the other hand, if I zip along for the next couple of months turning down interviews I could find myself in the unemployment line on Sept. 1. I imagine that would be unpleasant. I need to call my agent tomorrow and tell her my bosses declined the offer for Brother and I am DEFINITELY going to need a job no later than Sept. 1. I hemmed and hawed about asking to go ahead and meet the family who needs someone to start in May, but the drive would be bad. I don't think I could even get there by 8:15 AM, which is the start time they listed. Well, I will see what the agent has to say. If she thinks it would be good for me to meet them I will.

Best of luck!!! I was still holding out hope that things would work out for you to stay where you are. Hopefully the agent will find you just the right thing!

I was born blond and it has just slowly gotten darker over the years. I've added blond highlights on occasion but I've been thinking of going with red highlights next time. I'm VERY bad about getting my hair done. I goes months without even getting it cut. Basically, Katrina or Becky harrass me until I get the appointment made and then they have to remind me to go.

I'm a very basic person. I take a shower in the morning which includes washing my hair, brush my hair, put on deodorant, brush my teeth, get dressed and I'm ready to go! I've tried different hair cuts with the intention that I'd style it (at least by blow drying it) and it never happens.

That sounds just like me!

Good morning, DDA! I hope that everyone had a nice weekend and a wonderful Easter (for those of you that celebrate it)!

We were at Mom's and Dad's for the long weekend. I peeked in every once in a while, but I didn't have much computer time. My kids don't have school this week, but Laura has track practice from 8:00-9:30 am, and Matthew has track practice from 9:00-11:00 am. So much for a week of sleeping in! I guess we get an extra hour, but dh still is up and working at normal time, so I get up with him anyway.

I have some photos to share on the Pal Mickey thread, but I have been booted from my computer this morning, so I can't upload them yet. Why do all the good games have to be on MY computer?!
