I made over 100 autograph cards for my friend's nieces. I just did it in Word and printed on 4 x 6 index cards so they can go into a photo album. I put "Dayva & Vanessa's First Trip" on the top and "Walt Disney World, May 2007" on the bottom and put the clip art on the right side. Since I did them in Word I can just use the replace comand to change the text on all cards in 1 easy step. Mine are not fancy but if anyone is interested I can send you the file.

I did all the characters I thought they might see. I didn't do any that are generally only out for special parties.

The only character I couldn't find any clip art for was Mr Penguin from Mary Poppins. We saw him last August. Does anyone have a clip of him?

Terry - The house looks great! How exciting for your DS!:)

His picture came out great. Nick and Hunter's spring photos came out great this year too. I'll have to scan them in.

Deb

Janet, great pic! Deb, can't wait to see yours, too! DS had Spring pics taken last Thursday with NO warning! I refuse to buy photos that we had no notice about, because he looked like he had a mop on his head. We let him grow his hair out for awhile but it looked truly hideous. He got it cut on Friday - the day after the pics. I will take him to JC Penney and get a Spring photo.

Hi Jennifer! Sorry to hear the nausea is not going away.

Jennifer, I hope you feel better soon!:wizard:

Jo - I am so glad you and Ramiro had a good time at Busch Gardens yesterday!

DH and I went to Busch Gardens years ago before DS was born. It was fun! Glad you enjoyed it!

Elin congrats on the weight loss:cheer2:  :yay: :dance3:

Congrats on your weight loss, Elin! And congrats on your shopping! I have a dear friend who had gastric bypass just over a year ago, and she is also trying to decide what to do with all of the loose skin. Another friend of ours had gastric banding done, and she has also lost about 100 pounds. She and her DH adopted a baby girl from China last year, so she is glad she has the energy to chase after her new DD.:goodvibes

Hi everyone--im hiding in my room tonight--im SO frustrated with my brother and hes angry and im angry so its best to hide in here for now..so i have a feeling ill be online for a bit tonight!

everyone ready to start another week

Tell Joe to grow up or I will have to go "pirate" on him.pirate:

You stole no thunder, Becky!!!

Becky, we have enough congrats for all!!:) :thumbsup2

shes doing great. she seems to be really excited about becoming a big sister. she comes up to my stomach every day and asks where is baby. After I point out where baby is she then puts her head on my stomach and either says I love you baby or I mised you baby if I have been at work all day. Sometimes she will ask me what baby said. I tell her baby says Hi Sissy.

That's so sweet! She will be a good sister!

So I got an A in my class.:yay: :yay: :yay:  I guess all the BSing and stress was worth it.:rotfl2: I don't think I learned a darn thing.:rolleyes1

Thank you again for all your help Stephanie.

I still have to decide if I am taking either of the 2 classes I am registered for this summer.

Great job, Becky! Sorry it wasn't as informative as it should have been.:guilty:

No zoo for us today because DS didn't want to go. DH took him to the batting cages, then they bought more propane for the grill. I went to the grocery store, which took forever because we were out of everything! DH grilled burgers for dinner and we had coconut cream pie for dessert. I go in at 12:30 tomorrow, so maybe I will get some laundry done in the morning. Or not.:rolleyes1

Well, my oldest son called me today and said that they had put in a bid on a house. I was not aware they had been seriously looking but he said they put in a counter offer and were waiting for an answer. He also asked me if I would be able to help watch the boys so they could get their place ready and of course I said yes.

well,,,,,they got the house!!! :woohoo: :woohoo:   :cool1: :cool1: :dance3: :cheer2: :dance3: :woohoo:

This is what Garrett is complaining about with his picture. He says his hair looks funny  I did not realize he was getting pictures taken till he came home from school & told me. Had I known, I would of gotten his hair cut as well. I still like the picture though :goodvibes

I scanned in the school photos. I think there was dust on the scanner as there are a few white dots that are not on the originals

Congrats to Elin and Becky for the AWESOME weight loss!!!

Love the pics.

Sorry I can't find the cord for the camera....I will keep looking.

Cassidy had a great time and this boy seems to be a keeper for now. :rotfl:

Elin -- 100 pounds?! You are amazing! Congratulations! :goodvibes

Terry -- congratulations to DS. The house is gorgeous!

All the handsome young DDA men look great in their pictures, thanks for posting! :goodvibes

I just love to hear all of these weight loss success stories. 100 lbs is a whole person. You must feel so much better, I know that you look wonderful. Becky has done amazingly well too. I know how hard it is to stay on track, it is certainly a daily struggle at best. You ladies are an inspiration to us all :woohoo:

Thanks, Deb. And, as long as we are giving kudos... if it weren't for Glynis' success and for Kate for starting the Weight Loss thread 16 months ago, I would not be where I am today. You all have helped keep me on track, end pushed me back on there when I slid off! Thanks to all of you too. :goodvibes

Let's just say it hasn't sunk in with me either. I never really wore this size before as I went straight from kids plus sizes to about a 16 women's size.

I found a swimsuit top yesterday, I got a size 16 tall. It isn't quite as long as I would like and I could have gotten away with a 14 tall except that was even shorter yet. Considering it was only $6.99 I don't really care. I do need to find bottoms though as the biggest size they had that would go with it was a size 10. I will need to find bottoms by the start of June as I am going white water rafting.

Have you tried Lands' End? I have had great luck with their swim mini bottoms and I think they carry Talls. You can put your measurements into a virtual model on their website and dress it with your selections. They will tell you up front if it ought to fit the "real you."

Thanks, Theresa. Good luck finding the cord for your camera. I just found the one for our first digital camera which we have had about 8 years! :rotfl:

Glad Cassidy had a good time and the two of them are still enjoying one another's company!
