Thank you all for the nice comments on the dress I made. I hope you don't mind if I post a picture of another outfit I made today, I think I'm done for awhile after this one.

OMG...that is SOOOOO cute! Where did you find that fabric? I love it!

I've got the Travel Chanel on and Joe was really upset that he can't go see Tapestry of Dreams Parade at Epcot. I wish they would bring that back!

He's also very concerned that Samatha Brown is there all alone. He asked me why she isn't married and wonders if she was lonely as a child. He's such a sweet little boy.

I've been working on laundry now I'm going to do my taxes.

Just back from the movies.
Was able to go to the 1:00 Mimzy & 2:30 Robinsons.
Missed a little of the cartoon before the Robinsons.
Did the Visa quiz won the sound track.
Didn't really understand all of Mimzy.
All in all I would give it ****'s.
Robinson's was good.
More for the younger crowd.
Had Steak & Shake after the movies.
What lousy service.

Well last nights movie under the full moon.
Was great till my battery died.
I now know I have only a 2 hour battery.
Oh well finished it on the t.v.
Can't wait to get back to the Campground.
Campfire & movie.
Anyone know where they post the movie schedule.
Might be fun to go some night.

ooooo.....my friend that's going to Disney with me in May-her SIL that is also going...is a manager at Joann Fabrics.

They had quite a few cute disney fabrics, I almost picked one with tinkerbell on it. Maybe for another project some day.

Well this week-end was very productive around our house. I got the final coat of polyurethane on the front window yesterday and we got the trim up today. This was a job I put off for 12+ years because I wasn't happy with my staining job so I never did poly it. We also got the trim around the basement door which I have no idea why it never got finished. We also got the breezeway window done. I've gotten all the curtains washed. I still need to get them back up. I am also going to poly the kitchen window as it hasn't been holding up well lately.

Chuck made me a wheeled cart to go in the bottom of my pantry. The bottom area of the pantry doesn't have a shelf and it collects dust. I don't like putting anything down there. This wheels in & out so that I can store stuff so stuff doesn't actually sit on the floor. I think I am really going to like it. I got it painted white to match.

Hey Vicki, did you say you had patterns for making clothes for build a bear? If so, where did you get them?

Sorry, I do not have patterns for build a bear. I have patterns for American Girl Dolls (well my mother has them now since I don't sew and she does). :lmao: I did buy them though. I haven't heard of anyone that has BABW patterns. I know that Mrs. Potato Head (Marsha) posted that she used the American Girl patterns and shrank them a certain percentage to make Pal Mickey clothes. Those are the only patterns that I know about.

Sounds like a good day for the Yoopers. :thumbsup2

I have to tell you all what i did today--
Today was Alex (the firefighter that got in the accident in June) went back to work today!! My dad and i went to the firehouse so we would be there when he got there..The guys made a huge banner and hung it on the firetruck so that was the first thing he saw...It was amazing to hug him and say Welcome back!! He is so much farther than anyone who saw that accident thought he would be..soemoen today said it best--he was a walking miracle!

Jen, you can whine here if you need to, no problem. I just hope you continue to get more and more comfortable so you don't get so nervous. I'm sure it will keep getting easier. I will be interested to see if my DS is like this when he gets to his internship year for teaching.

OK thanks. I did see a couple of discontinued Simplicity patterns on line for build a bear sized clothes.

They are selling these patterns for $11.95 each, not sure if I want them that bad.

ETA: Actually I found one on ebay for $2.95+$2.00 shipping, maybe I will buy one.

There are probably other ones that would work or I'll have to get creative.

Congrats to everyone who has actually accomplished something today!:thumbsup2

I have done 2 loads of laundry. We are watching bits and pieces on Travel Channel. We just watched the WL Great Hotels so we are all set for our stay!

Ellen - The little sunsuit is even cuter than the dress!:goodvibes

I have to go in at 8:30 in the morning, but I am only working Monday & Tuesday this week. Yay!

Oh, heads up! Tomorrow is the last day for free shipping from Nordstrom. I accidentally ordered a pair of those cotton candy colored Crocs. They just jumped right in my cart, and before I knew it they were ordered and paid for!;) Strange how that happened.
