Let's see how well my memory is this morning:

RosieJo - Great Designs. I really like the Bride and Groom ones.

Amy - Love the new signature.

Denise - I am so glad to hear that changes are starting to happen. I hope that the changes work out well for your family. And way to go on the extra trip. I know that you guys will be DVC before we know it. :thumbsup2

Kate - Glad to see that your week got brighter. It is nice to see your designs again.

Skunka - Love the new design. You really captured the "Disney" side of Kate :rotfl:

Marti - Gotta keep your eye on Skunka. He's turning into a design machine. Soon he will be as obsessed as some others around here.

To All - I love the proposal/marriage stories. It seems that for the most part we are a happy bunch. Maybe it's a the family magic that Disney provides us.

Hope I didn't miss too much.

Deb

DH just informed me I've created 3 completely addicted Disney kids and he didn't think they'd make it to December! YIPPEE! I did it! all the kids do is play Disney, watch Disney planning DVD/movies/sing alongs, etc. They constantly talk about where we will eat, what they will do. It's great.

So, on the DVC trade/rent board I just posted:

BCV June 11-16: Need 170 points BCV 2 BDR/140 points BCV 1BDR
Also would like the dining plan. anyone? Thank you!

I figured I could buy an AP, get DVC for June and the dining plan, and then use the AP in December and either get an AP rate for a room or rent points again. Seems like I'm doing something right! And no, we're not buying DVC (yet!) since we have to wait and see what happens with Rees' Medicaid issues.

That's so exciting!

this was provided by purplern, posted by taeja71 on the Steelers thread, but I Thought it was fantastic! Even if you don't like the steelers, maybe you could just all appreciate the design quality  :goodvibes

That's all from me (for now). I have to get some NCLEX questions in before all the festivities begin... I have a test tomorrow that might be the death of me. What was she thinking putting it the day after the Superbowl?! I'm supposed to be reading about every possible illness that could land you in an ICU related to every organ but the brain and heart (we'll get to those next, I suppose)..... while the Superbowl is on?! :rotfl2:

Not gonna happen. But I must at least attempt to study before the rest of the crowd arrives...... have a good afternoon, all! :goodvibes

Are you digiscrapping your book? If so, how did you get started? If you have any good links for getting started in digiscrapping I'd love to see them if you don't mind emailing or pming me. I want to try to digiscrap our last trip and see how I like it. Since I am thinking of making Family History albums for DH's family (4-5 copies) and want to scrap our family trip next year (4 copies, plus 4 Kate-style autograph books) I think that digiscrapping will be the easier way to go, but want to make sure that I can do the books justice that way.

Hi Tia - yes I am into digi scrapping - I tried the real thing after our 03 trip and it was a disaster! I'm just not very creative in real life :rolleyes1:

Besides digi scrapping is much cheaper as you can use the materials again and again - and there is a lot of free stuff out there.

Here's a link to my album at two peas:

I haven't done many - too caught up in this thread!! As soon as my report is done though I'll be back at it.

This site is great too as she gives you other people's designs to "scraplift" I had one featured in there: http://digi-scraplift.blogspot.com/

Hope no one else minds me poting these links - I know we have a few budding scrappers amongst the DDA who I thought might be interested :goodvibes

My DH cooked me dinner at my house while I was at work, we ate dinner by candle light and then sat in front of the fireplace lisitening to love songs on the CD player. Whike we were siting in front of the fire my DH proposed.

Hey! Why isn't that working for me?!?! That is all Terra talks about. "Can we ride Dumbo/Tea Cups/Small World/etc?"..."I want to go to Donald Duck and I can wear my glasses."..."I will eat breakfast and Mickey and Minnie will come."..."Daddy, are you going to watch the E-cot fireworks with me?" Hmmm...maybe I'm just not doing this right. :D

Thanks, Clare! I can't wait to check them out. Cost is one thing I am serious concerned about. I get too carried away in the scrapbooking aisles/stores and just don't have the money to do so. I am hoping that my creativity will come a little easier digitally as well. I would love to spend the afternoon perusing sites, but apparently I am headed to the aquarium...again! Terra loves it there and wants to go every weekend lately. Who can argue when we've almost already gotten out monies worth out of the membership we bought a month ago.

Enjoy the superbowl all!

Wanted to respond today and DH had run his super spy ware. Don't really know what is does except that I have to sign back in EVERYWHERE!!!!!!!! :furious:

Someone --- Okay I'll name names --- THE QUEEN, changed my signature some time ago, so I changed my password, so then I had no idea :confused3 what it was, so after a while I am finally signed in! Thanks Queenie weenie!!! :lmao:

Skunka --- Love the Queen's pic!! You know that is how she dresses on a regular basis!! :rotfl2: Right Amy???

Amy – Love your signature! Can Kevin design one for me??? So Cute!

Denise --- I am sooo happy for you. I’ll keep praying. Good Work! Also what fun to go to Disney 2 times!! I am looking for an offsite condo to go in January. I think I have some great options. We like the space and pool. My kids are older and the Disney accomodations are a bit cramped for us for a whole week!

Hey!! I was just showing how practical I can be!! $3 card vs. Wendy's!! But Yeah, we collected all of our cups for 2 round trips on Airtran, and really it wasn’t a stretch for us at all!!! I do not believe an intervention is necessary!! Have you been speaking to my hubby????? :smooth:

Have a great Superbowl Day!! Go Seattle.

Why Seattle?
We don't like the Steelers since we like the Bengals and my son is "playing" the stock market at school. They "own" 500 shares of Starbucks! They are winning in the region right now out of hundreds of teams. They hope a Seattle win will boost sales!! :lmao: Also, they bought Reebok, figuring the Superbowl would cause sales!!!!

Welcome back! It took me a couple of weeks to kick the whole cough and congestion so I hope that you are back to normal soon. :wizard: Good luck at the doctor on Friday. I want to say don't worry, but I know that it never works for my sister when she has oncology appointments coming up. Instead, I'll just send lots of :grouphug: and :wizard: .

Amy -- Kevin does a super job on your pictures -- they are so cute!

Denise -- so glad to hear that things are looking up. Would it help if all your DDA friends sent in letters, even ones not in GA? And congrats to your summer trip!

Hey, this day and age you can't just make that connection. My dad is the biggest football fan I have ever even heard of. He is a diehard Bengals fan, Buckeyes fan, Reds fan (ok, so just sports in general  )... but even HE can root for the Steelers -- as long as they aren't playing the Bengals. When they played, the family was split.

With free agency, etc, it's not as easy to have favorite players, etc nowadays as it was when players stuck with one team for the majority of their career. Or so I'm told, I wouldn't know.... but it must have been nice! Even rivalries have interesting twists, as the Steeler who took Palmer out was once an extremely beloved Bengal :confused3

Lots of Cincinnati fans are just excited that the AFC North is once again a respectable conference, (almost) all around (sorry, Browns fans :rolleyes1 )

Besides. This house has gotta be loyal to Ben:love:, no matter what team he ended up with. Well, almost no matter what. I might feel a little differently if it were one or two other teams....

Either way, this game has the potential to be one of the best in a LONG time!

ETA: Also, I can feel your pain. The "one or two teams" I mentioned above are only hated (and I do mean hated) for their respective roles in being big fat cheaters against ANOTHER team of mine, where my heart ACTUALLY lies (above all else) .... but we won't go there today, as I will most certainly be misunderstood and laughed off the DISBoards. Maybe next season..... :rotfl:
