DH just informed me I've created 3 completely addicted Disney kids and he didn't think they'd make it to December! YIPPEE! I did it! all the kids do is play Disney, watch Disney planning DVD/movies/sing alongs, etc. They constantly talk about where we will eat, what they will do. It's great.

So, on the DVC trade/rent board I just posted:


BCV June 11-16: Need 170 points BCV 2 BDR/140 points BCV 1BDR
Also would like the dining plan. anyone? Thank you!


I figured I could buy an AP, get DVC for June and the dining plan, and then use the AP in December and either get an AP rate for a room or rent points again. Seems like I'm doing something right! And no, we're not buying DVC (yet!) since we have to wait and see what happens with Rees' Medicaid issues.

Denise, If you are going to rent points for June and then December you could have probably paid a huge sum towards your own points!! Think positive thoughts and everything will work out with with the Medicaid and with DVC!!

I havent been here in awhile, lots of stuff has been going on here lately--did ya miss me
But for an update on me:
While on the cruise, we met a girl on her make a wish trip and got to be friends with her , her family, and her nurse..The girl and her nurse came here and stayed for a weekend last week--we then found out the girls cancer has spread and it doesnt look good...we have been spending alot of time talking to her lately.
Also, ive been pretty sick...cant seem to get rid of this cough and congestion...Plus i have a huge doctors appointment on friday--my endocrinologist wants to see if my tumors are growing back so im a bit nervous about that..
other than that, i will try to come around more..hope you all are doing good

Kate - Back to the bag topic.....I looked at some Vera Bradley bags today (ok, I broke down and bought some Vera Bradley bags today). Anyway, they had one called a Carry All, that I thought would be wonderful for the parks. It's like a cross between a diaper and a messenger bag. It would sling over the shoulders. It has 2 large outside pockets with flaps that velcro, perfect for camera/video camera. Big inside with lots of pockets. Here is the link to it. If you have a place that sells Vera Bradley, go take a look at it. I think it would give you some great ideas. This is definitely something that I would buy.

Wanted to respond today and DH had run his super spy ware. Don't really know what is does except that I have to sign back in EVERYWHERE!!!!!!!!

Someone --- Okay I'll name names --- THE QUEEN, changed my signature some time ago, so I changed my password, so then I had no idea what it was, so after a while I am finally signed in! Thanks Queenie weenie!!!

Also, Nancy.... I think Queenie Weenie is hilarious. Do you think that only sisters are allowed to call her that? Not that I have a reason to, but some people around here might, that tend to participate in a little banter every now and then (ahem, Amy... Skunka...)

i posted in december that my best friend became a daddy--my niece is now a month and a half old...i was asked to babysit her yesterday for a few hours because her dad and my brother were going out to practice baseball--of course i said yes since i hadnt seen her since xmas eve...well she fell asleep on my chest while i was reclining in a chair and i didnt want to move and wake her (and i never get to see her so i wasnt putting her down!) so i fell asleep holding her..my mom saw us both sleeping and got the cutest picture!!!
I will probably s tart seeing her once a week til april because her dad and my brother will be practicing every saturday--he wants to try out for some league around here..

I'm so jealous. I love babies. We don't have any in our lives right now. My niece and nephew live too far away (Cleveland and I'm in Michigan's UP). My brother's wife is pregnant but they are in Japan. Anyone figure out a way to be a grandma without your kids being mom's or dad's??!! If I could figure that one out, I'd go for it.

We are going to Bethany, De. Since Steffy and I have gone to Cape May, NJ for nine years, I told her that I would scope this place out for our annual trip in October.

Ok, summer Disney is off. DH just looked at our credit card and said if we don't go we can pay it off in full. As much as I love Disney, the sensible part of me said we'll just wait until December.

PD for me please. I think I have Strep. I have ulcers all in my mouth and down my throat. I can't talk at all, can barely swallow, am running a fever, and my throat hurts unbelievably! I will go to the doctor tomorrow, but I can barely move it hurts so much.

Oh, and GO SEATTLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Shawn Alexander (MVP) played for Alabama. He is an awesome guy and so nice. So we are pulling for them tonight!
