Denise sorry about your summer trip. I sure hope you get to feeling better soon. My DS5 is getting a cold and we leave in 10 days. My older DS15 had it last week and it lasted him about 4-5 days but he is still coughing. I sure hope Jess gets to feeling okay before we go.

Anyone figure out a way to be a grandma without your kids being mom's or dad's??!! If I could figure that one out, I'd go for it.

My mom is going to be known as grandma to this baby! her dad has been my best friend since we were about 12 years old..We are like brother and sister, he calls my mom on mothers day...were very close--

Sorry you don't feel well Denise - and on top of that you have to be sensible... don't you wish just once in our lives we didn't have to be sensible??? Get to a doctor and get on medicine so you don't spread it to the kids.

PD for me please. I think I have Strep. I have ulcers all in my mouth and down my throat. I can't talk at all, can barely swallow, am running a fever, and my throat hurts unbelievably! I will go to the doctor tomorrow, but I can barely move it hurts so much.

You must go to the dr. tomorrow w/o fail. Please let us know what he says

1st daughter is 10/25

youngest daughter is 11/7

now this one is 10/13

Kate - Back to the bag topic.....I looked at some Vera Bradley bags today (ok, I broke down and bought some Vera Bradley bags today). Anyway, they had one called a Carry All, that I thought would be wonderful for the parks. It's like a cross between a diaper and a messenger bag. It would sling over the shoulders. It has 2 large outside pockets with flaps that velcro, perfect for camera/video camera. Big inside with lots of pockets. Here is the link to it. If you have a place that sells Vera Bradley, go take a look at it. I think it would give you some great ideas. This is definitely something that I would buy.

That is a really cute bag but I am looking for more of a backpack style with exterior zipper pockets instead of velcro. Don't forget about the water bottle pockets for the two sides also.
