Good Morning DDA,

Just a quick post before I head back to work, I lost four cashiers in the last two days. The really sad part is that three of them left with a police escort and a new pair of bracelets.

Thanks everyone for the good thoughts today..im nervous, but very ready to meet her and the class!

Other than that-my brother asked me to drive his 'girlfriend' somewhere today..so it will be nice to talk to her and get to know her...and HOPEFULLY my boyfriend comes home today and he will stop being so stressed..

anyone have plans for today?

Jen I think I forgot to wish you good luck to day :wizard:

I spoke with my parents. They can't make it down for Christmas due to my dads work schedule, but providing the mild weather continues, they will come down for New Years weekend! Yippie!

Yeah, I hope you didn't have your speakers up too loud. :rotfl:

Opinions wanted please from those of you who have stayed at OKW.

I currently have 2 studios booked at OKW for our April trip, one for us and one for my parents. There is no guarantee that these rooms will be next or close to each other. Will staying in a 2 br be that better for us? A lot of room?

Question for those of you that have had kidney stones. I really think that the doctor is misdiagnosing me. First of all my pain is mid right back and the stone they saw is on the left side. I have known about that one for years and it has never bothered. The odd part for me is that my pain subsides when I lay down. I have very little pain during the night, nothing that would even wake me up. I thought kidney stones hurt all the time. I have also had the pain radiate around my side into my abdomin and sometimes up my right shoulder. That doesn't seem like kidney stones from anything that I have read. The other thing that seems off is that this has been bothering me for nearly 2 weeks now. Most stones pass within 48 hours or become so unbearable that they have to be removed. I spent time this morning doing a little self diagnosis. I think I may have a gall bladder issue. The pain and the way it radiates makes sense. I have also had weight loss which can contribute. I have had a lot of gas lately, which seemed unimportant until I started researching. I have also had a few episodes of vomit burping after eating over the last week (sorry to be so graphic). I left a message for the doctor nearly 3 hours ago and still no phone call. I would rather be certain of what I'm dealing with rather than kill the pain of some unknown. Any info would be appreciated.

Yikes!! Sounds like fun, NOT!! Hope today is better for you.

Deb when you said the pain radiates to the front, my first thought was gallbladder. Before I had mine removed the pain would start in my upper back & move around under my rib cage. I lost weight because almost everything I ate caused an attack. I knew what the problem was, as the Dr. had diagnosed it. I did not have Ins. at the time so I dealt with the pain for 2 years. Finally one day the pain was worse than ever & I could not take it anymore. I went to the ER & had surgery scheduled for the next morning. I have a lovely scar but it is worth it for the pain I do not feel now.

Good luck with the DR :wizard:

That was my favorite part too!! and it brought one of the pastors in to watch it too!! :teeth:

Just how unbearable is it to go to Disney in Aug? Does anyone remember when the free dining usually starts? I was thinking maybe taking the boys for a quick trip before school starts, I don't think I can wait till next Dec. lol But I am not sure I could handle the heat. It gets hot & humid here, but I try to stay inside when it gets bad.

What you are describing (other than the weight loss) is the problems my mom had earlier this year that were finally attributed to her liver. Also sound like a gallbladder issue....hmmmmm,

Whatever it is I hope you feel better soon.
