I posted it! Glad you liked it! I wonder if you could add tomato paste or sauce and still get the tomato taste without the texture that kids don't seem to like. It's a really good meal, though. Instead of the beans you could add a can of corn. My kids like the beans, though, so I add them. It also helps to stretch the meat a bit.

Alright, I have been unsuccessfully trying to get somethings accomplished. I keep getting interrupted.

I'm trying to do an assignment for my Fundraising class but haven't been successful its due on Septemember 5th, as is my assignment for my nonprofit management class. I wanted to have the Fundraising one done by tonight but that didn't happen, I gotta get it done by tomorrow night and am aiming to have the other one done by Saturday.

I had to help my Mother with her resume as she has never made one before and is looking for another job. My brother wanted help with an online order he was placing. My father got a huge splinter like the width of a toothpick and length of a dime, under his fingernail. Luckily he pulled it out easily.

I got called by one of the newer employees Saturday night because they couldn't get the alarm set at the store I work at. I ended up having to give her my code #.

Well tonight I was called by another new employee it was her first time closing herself she didn't know how to set the alarm. I told her how to set it, she doesn't get out of the store soon enough and the alarm goes off. That alarm is enough to give anyone a heart attack as it is so loud and obnoxious. She couldn't find the phone number paper so she panics and just pushes redial on the phone so she called me back. Although she could have ended up calling anybody. I get her to turn the alarm off and tell her how to set it and to get out ASAP once it is set.

Apparently she left to soon as the security company called the store, she was already gone so they called me. I told them not to send the cops because I know why the system went off and gave my ID number. Why either her or the security company called me instead of the manager is beyond me but that is who they called.

I call my manager, she is on the way to the store as the complex security called the cops. I told her the exact reason why the alarm went off and that the security company called me and I said not to call the cops. I never thought to attempt to call the complex security although by that time they probably already called the cops. I'm just glad I didn't have to drive back to the store.

I am saying forgot the assignment for now and came here to relax.

Well, it's been quite a night. I got to go to pre-school orientation for the twins tonight. I love their pre-school teacher! She also taught Katie and Jacob. She was a kindergarten teacher for about 15 years before she opened up this preschool. She really gets the kids ready for school. She teaches them to count to 100, they learn the upper case letters, and most importantly, they learn the behaviors they will need in the school system. So, it was fun to go and get the twins all registered, etc. They are so excited to be starting. When I got home, it was time to help Katie and Jacob with their homework, and then get all 4 kids to bed.

Katie and I are reading "The Witch of Blackbird Pond." I read aloud to her each night. I'd forgotten what a good book that is! At our school, if a student reads 50 Newberry Award books from the time they are in 4th grade thru 6th grade, they get their names engraved on a plaque in the library, and they also get 50 dollars. Guess what Katie's goal is? So far, she's read about 6 Newberry's since the beginning of August.

Now it's my turn to go to bed! I hope we hear good news about Caroline, soon! She and Dawn will continue to be in my prayers until we hear.

Sometimes he can't get through calling the cell. It's only one night and I should be happy that I get to alk with him as much as I do. Some places they go I would hear from him at all.

We got a ton of rain for about 15 minutes and then it got very muggy here. so my DH and I are headed to West Virginia this weekend to visit our friends and we will probably drive in the rain the whole time we are on the road.

I sure hope your are not driving this?? Anyways safely and watch out for the people who aren't paying attention.

Wow you were really close to me! The boys loved everything about this place. They kept very busy all weekend Besides the waterpark their favorite was the go karts. We will definetly be staying here again. I'm sure the outside pools will be closing before long, but the inside is just as cool. It is a nice get away for the weekend & only takes about an hour for us to get there.

We went bowling at Fun City when we were there this summer. My parents live in Danville and DH's in W. Burlington. We were staying at a dif. hotel but had thought about this one on our next visit. It looked very neat. And the boys loved the look of the pool.
