Ok, that Cold Stone Creamery is a very bad place!!!!!! That could be addictive. Thank goodness I have to drive 7 hours to find one!!!! My friend and I went and checked it out tonight. Her friend had taken her once before a couple of months ago. Wow! I got a modified turtle something or other. It calls for fudge, caramel & pecans. I prefer almonds so I asked them to put almonds instead of the pecans. MMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!

Cold Stone replaced our Baskin Robins down the road. While I love the ice cream for 6 of us it is too darn expensive. Baskin Robbins was much more affordable. I guess it helps my diet as we have only gone out for ice cream twice this summer. They have ice cream sandwiches and I have my Healthy Choice fudgsicles at home.

It has been raining here almost all day they are calling for 6 to 10 inches of rain. We had tornado warnings for our county and there were flash floods. Plus if Ernesto heads this way like it appears he will, it will be an interesting weekend.

Sending I was always nervous when tornadoes came through our area when we lived in IA.

Assuming that they offer free dining again (and I really hope they do since it is already out in the UK!) we will go 9/23 to 10/2 at the CR Tower. If not, we will probably go at Christmastime again at the GF (but only 7 days, not 10 days )

It would be fun to go at a different time of year.

Dictionary.com refuses to acknowledge it's a word, but the fish is spelled mackerel, so I'd just add the s in front of it.

Couldn't someone look in a Winnie the Pooh book for the spelling? Actually we have a collection I'll check when I can get off the couch. (This is my sit and relax time )

Just got a call from Jonathan...he's coming home this weekend. I am very surprised...

Maybe he's out of clean laundry? J/K I think the first month away at college I got a little homesick and visited. As time went on a year later they had to bribe me to come home.

I can't sleep -- I feel yucky still and Paul is working tonight. Would you believe that some kids in the neighborhood decided tonight is a good night to play ring and run?? Now I'm shaking and nervous!

I don't get the humor in that? I hope they knock it off soon.

Speaking of things being cut wrong. Why don't they make bras and lingerie that actually fit a busty woman without making us look like an old lady? I have a big bust and need underwire to hold things up if you know what i mean and most lingerie doesn't have enough support. It is frusterating. I don't want old lady undergarments.

Julia had a full seizure work up at 11 days old - and I can tell you all that Dawn is going through some of the worst hell right now - she can use all of the prayers in the world!! A seizure workup is a lot for such a little one to go through! Pray that she gets answers soon and that she takes care of herself

I had a c-section as well and started hemorraging while Julia was in the hospital - I refused to leave her side and take care of my self - they had to threaten to admit me to a different hospital before I would go eat - so add special prayers that Dawn is physically taking care of herself too!!!!

Dawn and Caroline will be in my prayers as long as needed. and for the little and her family.
Kate I hope your family is doing well and little Nick has been free from those troublesome headaches. You will be in our prayers for your knee surgery. Hope it goes well.

Here is a photo of our new deck/porch. This photo was taken yesterday before I had a chance to do any clean up. Obviously we still need to change the board below the threshold (I'm thinking diamond plate aluminum in honor of Chris's occupation/hobbies). I am also planning to do some landscaping. It only took us 6 years to put in permanent steps
