Hello everyone

I need some designing help. I am supposed to be making tonight BEFORE bedtime two Lilo/Stich shirts for a co-worker. The ones from Kate's site that I used and from another site are not "pixeled" clearly. They are not clear at all and look very digital.

Can anyone help?? I am not sure what I am doing wrong........I just need one design with Lilo/Stitch in it with a square border around it. I am printing it on dark paper on a white shirt so the square border is needed for the cut out.

I hate to make a last minute request but I am very desperate right about now.

Lynn
Sorry can't help maybe one of the the designers is around and can help

I know Dawn had hoped to give you an update herself today, but it's getting late, so I thought I'd update you with what she wrote to me earlier.

The head Neonatologist came in early this afternoon and said from what they've told him about the spitting up and from what the nurses observed first hand, he's going to thicken Caroline's formula more and they'll have to adjust the Reglan more. He said it would probably take a few days so Dawn doesn't anticipate that they'll go home today or tomorrow.

The good news is Caroline is having wet/dirty diapers again and she's gained three ounces. She's up to 6 lbs 7 ounces now. They were still waiting for some 48 hour lab tests to come back, but the nurse told them at 36 hours they were negative and they rarely come back positive after that.

Amy :)

Thanks for the update.

The whole family will continue to be in my prayers.

Sorry Lynn- a third can't help sorry.

Where oh where are our designers tonight? :confused3

That's o.k........I hate it that I am a procrastinator (sp). I have been so busy with football every night so I am waiting to the last minute. I can't figure out why they are not printing clearly.

I will hang out a little while later and see if anyone comes up with anything.

Thanks again.....Lynn

So does anyone have any fun plans for tomorrow?

We are going to the Grayson High School football game. Like I haven't already had enough football all week with both boys in practice. But there is nothing like a cool evening under the lights!!!!

David works Saturday 2pm-11pm and then Monday 6am - 3pm. So we are definitely not going anywhere this weekend. Saturday in my son-in-law's birthday so they are coming over after church for lunch. He has requested lasagna......mmmmm.....that does sound good.

Tomorrow night is the home opener for LHS...I think Abi and I are going to miss it. Abi is feeling a bit resentful of sister (and the time we've invested) so I am going to have some extra just mommmy and me time with her tomorrow.

Remember I told you my brother and his family is now living in CO. Well he found out today that the "guaranteed sale" on his house fell thru. I didn't get all the details from him but something to do with the borrower not getting the money she needed. Now he is stuck with rent in CO, mortgage in FL and storage of $500 monthly. I really feel bad for them but have no idea what to say or do.

We survived the trip to the dentist!

Much to my dismay, Matthew fought off a nap (Alyssa used to fall asleep in the car within seconds...he has other ideas), and he was crying so much that the very sweet receptionist decided she'd hold him until my teeth were cleaned.

Alyssa was very interested in my check-up and she handled her own check-up fabulously! I rewarded her good behavior with a new pack of Zizzlingers (or was I really rewarding myself for the whole experience?!! :rotfl: ).

The dentist did sternly tell me it's time for Alyssa to stop sucking her thumb. Where as, I don't want to see her do any damage to her bone structure, I also feel she needs this comfort for a little while longer as she continues to adjust to life in our new home with her new brother.

I'm also stressed, because I know potty training and a transition to a big girl bed need to happen soon. I just don't want to overwhelm her (or myself) with too many changes at once.

I'd appreciate any advice anyone has on any or all of these subjects! :)

Amy,

Hard to say what to do with the thumb sucking. Our youngest son did it until he was about 7 and then the orthodontist put in a tongue guard and that stopped it right away, otherwise the front teeth would have been sticking almost straight out. I tried everything, the stuff you put on the thumb, bribing him, but it sure didn't help when some people would ask him what flavor it was and he thinking it was funny would keep it up. If she has a chance to be around other little ones her age who are starting the potty training then she may want to imitate. That happened with my oldest son.
Just take it a day at a time.

Actually I am 40 but I have two older step children. Melissa is 26 and Sam is 29......I raised them as my own since they were Kindergarten and 2nd grade. I thought I was the coolest 21yr old mom around. Now with Austin (12) and Alex (8) now I think I am the oldest looking mother around. Funny how things go full circle. I am actually a Meme of 3 grandchildren also. Boy am I feeling really old right about now.

He said were they are renting school doesn't start until after Labor Day. He was hoping to be closed on the house in FL and in a permanent home so they wouldn't have to change schools later. I am not sure what they will do now.

Good evening all! Anyone have plans for the weekend?

I talked to my Aunt today & my cousin is getting out of the hospital tomorrow. She can walk, but her left arm is still paralizied. Hopefully with time she will get feeling back in her arm as well. I was happy to hear she is doing better. I am looking forward to being with them all this weekend.

Riley is doing well at the new school & is very happy now about going. One thing I have noticed is he is studying & doing homework on his own. I have not had to keep on him to get it done like previous years. I hope to take this as a good sign. Riley also will be playing fall ball(baseball) & their 1st game is next Sat.

Garrett already has a science project, collecting & identifing insects  I'm not to thrilled about this project, I just don't care for bugs lol I have been collecting some for him, but I told him I will not help pin them to the board :crazy2: Garrett is playing volleyball again this year & is learning to play the clarinet in band.

Denise I am happy to hear you had a good day at school, look forward to seeing your classroom pictures.

Amy thank you for the update on Caroline

Elin enjoy your time off this weekend, hopefully you will get some "me" time.

Tammi I am glad Nicholas enjoyed his 1st day at school. I am sure you have said, but what grade is he in?

Karen :grouphug: for your grandmother.

Does anyone know when Lindsey returns?
