Yay! another update! Reading about the beach is getting me excited for my own vacation next week! If I'm still feeling adventurous I've been thinking about making my own little trip report. I haven't been to Daytona in at least 5 years so it should be interesting to see how its changed. Hopefully I'll get to hear about more of your trip before I leave! Thanks for the update!

Oh my gosh, I LOVE the pictures of the waves! It doesn't LOOK like your camera is about to break in those pictures. They really are great!

And of course, Logan is cute as always!

It's gonna storm? I need to go look out of the window in our back room. It's terrible that I didn't even know that! No windows!

I didn't think it would rain today since I brought my new umbrella to work with me!

LOL believe me, my camera went downhill from there. It would work only sometimes.

Did you see it storming? The lightning was terrible. I'd take lightning over tornadoes anyday though!

Just kidding, you're adorable but he is sooo cute. I just want to squeeze him and bite his cheeks. I love when babies only have those two little teeth! Soo cute.

Isn't he the cutest?! He actually has SIX whole teeth now! And still getting more. He had to go to the doctor today, he has his first ever ear infection He hasn't had one yet, so he did good so far. We went to see him earlier, he's still acting his crazy lil self. He learned how to give sweet eyes!!

Great update, even if it was only short. Logan is such a cutey, I see why you love him so much. When we were in Miami in 2006 we were on our balcony and saw some dark shadows in the water right near all the swimmers. We then realised it was stingrays (huge ones) and they were swimming around all the people who were completely unaware that they were there. When we went in the sea later I was constantly aware that they could be right near us, but didnt think they would/could hurt us. The ironic thing was about 1 month after we got back Steve Urwin was killed by a stingray whilst taking a break from filming World's Deadliest Sea Creatures.

That was really sad about Steve Irwin. I really feel bad for his family. He seemed like a really loving guy.

Okay, here's a really random look-alike!!

Anyway, the other day I was watching an episode of an Australian tv show called Underbelly, and an actor appeared called Damien Walshe-Howling. As soon as I saw him, I thought, "Hey! That looks like Heather's nephew!!"

Which is weird, because he must be in his 30's, and in the tv show, he plays an underworld killer. Ummmm. I warned you it was random!! He does have a sweet little face though, even though he is a bit grotty!

I just did a big Google search to find a photo of him that looks like Logan, but alas. This is the closest one I could come up with... He's the dude on the left.

I think it's just his dark features and his little mouth! Hehee.

Haha, I didn't know I had a storm coming. Thanks for letting me know. I'm sick of these darn thunderstorms every day! I don't mind rain once in awhile, but these always make the power flash off, just long enough to make all of the clocks blink and the computer go off. I HATE that!

I don't blame you one bit!! I get so ticked off when the power goes out and I have to reset every single clock in the house!!! It really aggravates me!

I work for the local power company in System Control and I will say during a storm there is not really alot we can do. Lightning wrecks havoc on a power system. As do squirrells in my area. There are saftey measures in place like fuses on taps...so if a tree falls or a squirrell or lighting get on the line it will just take that small area out. Its the way power works...the loud bang you hear right before the power goes out thats a fuse not a transformer. Also if your lights blink 3 or 4 times then go out. well thats what its suppose to do its trying to burn whatever is on the line off...thats the simple answer. I know its frustrating when it goes out but more often than not its for a reason. its not because of the bad utility company not knowing what its doing or having crappy equipment, that does happen though. The other day we had a snake take out a entire substation. 5000 people no power. we had a family of lizards take out a line every morning at 9 oclock...mother nature is still more powerful than us...

Sheesh. I wasn't talking bad about YOU specifically. I understand when things happen, it's just annoying having to set all the clocks back. I never said there was anything they could do about it, I just think it sucks.

I'm a teacher, and guess what... it's school holidays! Yayyyy! 2 weeks to sleep in, relax, and play on the DIS boards!!

Long weekend here! I found I am getting old...lol...clubs and bars are just not my scene anymore I think?!? And today was the day of chores (laundry, food shopping, cleaning). not so exciting huh?

Mine was FANTASTIC! (with a touch of sarcasim) The one good thing that happend was I got my nails done and cashed in on my pedi gift cert from mother's day. I did however get to spend 10 hours in the car driving to Chicago and back picking up my nephew. He's flying with us to Mexico and flights were cheaper out of Detroit than Chicago. And, let me just rant a little more, for those of you people who live in Ohio and travel west through Indiana, they have raised the toll into Indiana to $6.75! Plus, when I get to lovely Gary, IN I am priveledged to pay $1.50 to drive 3 mi down the road where I get to pay another $3 to drive in bumper to bumper traffic on the Ryan Expressway.
So sorry about that. PHWEW! WOW! Who knew that I had so much pent up anger
I hope your weekend was less hectic than mine and that you had some nice sunshine down in the south. Lord knows we could use some up here

Our weekend was good. It's amazing to me how many things I attempt to fit into Saturday & Sunday. We took the kids putt putting on Saturday and then we did the peddle boats at a local park yesterday.

We're unofficially counting down to WDW in August. Dining ressies are hard to come by this year. The best we could do at O'Hana's was 9:10 on a Monday.
