welcome to our crazy group we're all excited about our trips too... we are staying at Pop the same time as you and there are a couple other groups too... can hardly wait!!! lots of ideas & tips from everyone to read - there is also a September 2011 group for anyone traveling that month... have you been before?

Yes, we have been to WDW 3 times before (always with the kids) so this will be our fourth. But the last time was 13 years ago!!!! Forever in "mouse" years!!! This is our first time without the kids.....One just got married and the other 2 are in college. They are having a fit that they are not coming! 31 days to go!!!!

We are flying with airtran down and jetblue back - great rates - for the 4 of us it was only 900 - from SJ it would gave been 2000 minimum...

We are going as characters from Alice in Wonderland - dh mad hatter, me Alice, dd & ddbff are tweedles, dsis queen of hearts, dnephew is white rabbit... Love ur Glitter Girl costume

As for decorating my door, we will have mickey face names hanging, window clings of Ariel and princesses, Halloween window clings and I will have a big green mickey head with my dis name on it... We didn't do a preferred room although kinda wish we had now - forgot the walking needs of my dmil - hopefully not too far from buses

I'll be keeping an eye out for you at the MNSSHP. So if you see this "small" action hero known as Glitter Girl coming towards you asking where the rabbit hole is you'll know it's me.
We didn't do a preferred room...all the rooms at POP are great. You can always find a short cut to the bus stop and the food court. I have my fingers crossed they put DH and I in either the 80's or 90's. This will be my 4th trip and I haven't got to stay in either of those sections yet. I know I could have requested it, but sometimes I like a surprise. As long as I'm at Disney it really doesn't matter.
That's a good idea with the green mickey head on the door. Since I'm looking for things to do to kill time I might do one up.

go to know about Pop - have never stayed onsite before so EXTREMELY excited we are hoping for 60s or 70s - requested but we have 5 rooms in total for our group so just so long as we stay together, we'll be happy... I am going to get internet a couple days so will try to message you what rooms we have...

You can't miss our group - my daughter and her bff are in tweedle costumes I made - black skirt with white tulle trim, white tank top with bright red suspenders, and pig tails - their shirts will say "I'm with her!" and hubby's mad hatter hat is one from Canada day so red & white with big maple leaf... but then again it is Magic Kingdom so pretty big place lol...

trying to hold it in not telling Kelly - so hard... only thing that helps is that we can talk about the trip next September... and the picture in my head when we tell them all they are going to Disney World!!!

you need to come down again soon though so we can repack and make sure we have everything we need... think I actually have too many shirts for Kelly & Dela (if that's even possible)

I agree! I don't think I could have come without them when our kids were small. Our boys are 20, 22, and 24 now so I am in a different phase right now (empty nest!).....but even now I still feel guilty! Lol! Have a wonderful anniversary this weekend!!!

DH will have his Iphone but I'm not sure if we'll have internet connection. I'll look into this. Actually when DH and I get there I can send you a PM on this Board and let you know where we ended up.
Or we can try to hook up at POP before the party. We all should be easy to find in our costumes.
I think it is so cool to meet up with fellow NBer's.
Being with a group is a lot of fun. I hope you really like POP. We've stayed at other resorts and have checked a few out, but we always end up at POP.
Anyways, let me know what you think about meeting...you can always PM me and we can toss back and forth some ideas.
I can hardly wait to see your dd's costume. I'm envious of everyone who can sew.
And let us know when you get your special mail.

Remember when we were at 189 - thats when I joined this group... what a long 160 days that was... I hope the last 29 fly by for us all... we packed and cataloged last night what we had in all the suitcases... now to see how much more has to go in there 2 checked, 4 carry-on, 1 stroller, 4 personal bags... this should be interesting
