The countdown to POP Century - September 2011!!!!

Good luck to all of us September POP DISers!!!

I am hoping our flight down would be as smooth as it could be since we are arriving late at night and hopefully there won't be any delays!

Yeh - we went shopping too and now I think I need another checked bag.... oh well - we're gonna have a blast and that is all that matters... does your flight still come in at the same time as ours? we arrive 2:30 I believe...

33 DAYS TO GO!!!!

At this point yes...our flight lands about 2:43pm....We will land..head to baggage(aka Mickey buses) surprise them there, then board, check in , get our food delivery and head to t-rex and dtd. If we don't have time we will just have the wegoshop deliver the stuff and leave for us!

I keep telling myself soon, probably when I least expect it.

Where are you flying from? And what time do you arrive in Mickey World?
We are flying from Fredericton and we're using aeroplan points. There were limited time frames to pick from and we don't get in to MCO until 11:30 PM. So we might get to MickeyLand by midnight.

we're flying out of Portland - cheaper flights... we leave on the 24th at 11:33 am and arrive like 2:30pm... hopefully we get to run into each other - going to decorate our room doors with lots of stuff... does your schedule run similar to ours at all... we are going to...

25 - MK
26 - AK (Tusker bfast)
27 - Epcot & MNSSHP
28 - HS
29 - MK
30 - Epcot
1 - ??? & leave at like 3 for airport i believe - late flight

welcome to our crazy group we're all excited about our trips too... we are staying at Pop the same time as you and there are a couple other groups too... can hardly wait!!! lots of ideas & tips from everyone to read - there is also a September 2011 group for anyone traveling that month... have you been before?

Got you added to the list! We are not doing costumes for the party. This will be our 4th MNSSHP. I love them! It is just DH and I but we have a great time. Are you doing costumes? We will be in MK all day. That is our last day before flying home the next so I am looking forward to it but at the sametime I hope it takes it time getting here.

I couldn't make up my mind on a costume so I decided to create something new and different. The only thing I knew for sure was I was wearing something cool. So I have glittery black shorts and a glittering black tank with Glitter Girl spelt out in pink glittery letters on the back of it. I bought some glittery body lotion from Bath and Body Works. I'll also have glittery make up on my face and glitter in my hair.

What kind of things will you be decorating your door with? Are you in the preferred section?
I made some things for our door, and our window. I usually change them every few days.
Hope we see each other.
Which airline are you using from Portland? I may need to look at this option for the future.

Last minute trip for my daughters 16th birthday has just been planned! We will be at POP! September 10-16

This is a surprise trip for her. She won't know we are going until 9/10 when we head for LAX!

We are flying with airtran down and jetblue back - great rates - for the 4 of us it was only 900 - from SJ it would gave been 2000 minimum...

We are going as characters from Alice in Wonderland - dh mad hatter, me Alice, dd & ddbff are tweedles, dsis queen of hearts, dnephew is white rabbit... Love ur Glitter Girl costume

As for decorating my door, we will have mickey face names hanging, window clings of Ariel and princesses, Halloween window clings and I will have a big green mickey head with my dis name on it... We didn't do a preferred room although kinda wish we had now - forgot the walking needs of my dmil - hopefully not too far from buses
