Alex, I saw on my PTR you posted about not putting pennies with batteries. What happens? Will it kill the battery? YIKES!

Who cares about the battery, it corrodes the freakin' pressed pennies!

We had TONS of them, and most of them were ruined beyond recognition. A few were just black. OMG, I was so upset, it was SO MUCH MONEY and all the time we spent running around looking for the dumb machines!

Then when DS4 and I went last Feb.? We'd done a bunch, and on our last morning (before catching the flight) we lucked into last-minute seating at Lilo & Stitch breakfast, and we pressed one more penny before we headed into the restaurant. (Or was it afterward?) Anyway, apparently I didn't zip up the backpack pouch well enough, because somewhere in the lobby we lost the ziploc bag of pressed pennies!

I retraced our steps, but of course it was gone and no one returned it to the hotel staff.

Maybe we just aren't meant to have pressed pennies...

OMG all the pennies!!! ALL the pennies!!! After dh explained the economics of pressing pennies. I said its just pennies. He said yeah, it cost a dollar each time, 50 cents per kid!!! That adds up! I alread put 2 rolls of quarters into M&M containers and I dont have nearly enough pennies yet.
