hmm, must have been the SoCal.. we were blocked every Saturday and a few Sundays as well.

My bf is a night owl because he works until late. I tend to stay up way too late on the weekends and then I'm exhausted by Monday.

Good Morning Hyena Folk! It's a lovely, sunny 90 degree day here today. Drove to work with the top down this morning (and the heat cranked up to 80!). But it was still fun.

Not much going on, I was tired last night and went to bed at 8:30. But that doesn't surprise me as I was at work early yesterday. Since I'm taking Friday off I'm trying to get everything done in 4 days instead of 5.

GOOD MORNING HYENAS

I feel like I'm going to pass out I'm going to go home and sleep during my lunch break. Serves me right for staying up late. I really need to just force myself to sleep early but sometimes I have difficult falling asleep. Oie vay.

I went to the local gas station and got a can of AMP Energy Relaunch (it's an organge citrus flavor) and a sausage croissant from Jack In the Box.

It's a really slow day at work again. I'm not sure why but my customers usually pile tons of P.O's on me but the past few days has been really calm. Not sure why. I don't like having nothing to do. My co-workers are going through the same thing I believe. It's really strange.

Boys are off to school, and no weird incidents this morning, neighborly or otherwise.

I need to run a couple errands in a bit, just thought I'd pop in and see what the rest of the hyena world was up to. It seems to be... not much.

DH's mother and stepdad are coming to visit sometime this weekend. You'd think, knowing me, that I'd be frantically scrubbing out the oven, washing floors and steam-cleaning carpets... however, I'm just not panicked yet.

I'm hoping it will be a nice visit and not too awkward. We haven't seen them since DS8 was a baby, so not only does DS8 not remember them, but they've never even met DS4.

She mentioned their visit to DH, but he hadn't told me about it. She mentioned it to me last week, and I when I realized she was talking about early October. I assumed they were going to come and stay with us for a few days. Then I really when that got bumped up to this weekend, but DH said they're not going to stay at all, it's going to be a very brief visit of only a few hours. They're stopping by on their way through to somewhere else (which I did know, I just hadn't realized they were not staying longer.)

I need to be sewing but I'm just too tired! I'm afraid I'll make so many mistakes it will take longer than if I just did it when I'm awake so I'm catching up on the boards.

We went to my brothers last night for dinner. I got home after midnight. He wanted to talk to us again. I'm glad we went down. We were at this Sushi place though and it stunk. I hate sushi but they love it so I ate teriyaki chicken. I joked about bringing a George Foreman Grill to a sushi bar and plugging it in the wall to cook my sushi.

Then mom and I took a detour coming home in the middle of the night and cut through the desert on a 2 lane road. I just hate I-10 so we tried a new route. It was a little scary being in the middle of the desert in pitch black conditions without a map but luckily I knew to just keep going north and we would hit Phoenix! we did and I think our journey was shorter!

So I'm just hanging out. I need to do some. and collect suitcases too.

Good mornin! Well... Nothing exciting going on here. I had the worst headache last night. It was weird, I dnt usually get headaches. But this puppy would NOT go away. Not that I could really dope up, but I tried Tylenol. Anyhow.... I went to bed, and now its gone. So life is good.. Except Mikalah has the barfies. I know, whats new? It has been a while since she got sick, I figured she was outgrowing it. I dont know, maybe she is sick. She is laying on the floor watching the doodlebops.

Tonight is Open house... We get a free dinner with it. Who knows what that dinner will be though. Rubbery school lunch pizza? YUM. On the plus side, I just mentioned it to Frelan, and he said that he would go to bed early so he could go with us. That surprised me. I figured he would have told me to have fun, and tell him about it when we got home.

I found a thing of peppermint tea in the cupboard... YUM!! My favorite thing to drink is pepper mint tea.

I think I am off to take a bath.

Hey Shawna! I am not a big sushi fan either.. It is pretty big here, sushi on every corner. Hubby and Alex love it, but Mikalah and I could care less. I DO like a good tempura roll... but that is cooked.
