The Celebrity Apprentice 2

Wow, I don't think I've ever seen Trump so mad and go after someone like that. Not even at Rosie O'Donnell.

The show is back on at 9pm next week.

I think he should have fired them both - I won't say which "both" for those on the West Coast who don't have Direct TV East Coast feeds like me.
"Both" of them were ridiculous tonight

This is the first season I've ever watched this show, but I am really enjoying it.

I think Dennis should have gone before Tom. He obviously doesn't want to be there.

I'm glad to see Tom Green go, Dennis is next no doubt. Man, is he a hot mess.

Lovely how he brings in that little sad looking model and says he loves Russian b's....:sad2: He made me sick before but now it's

Best line of the night: Melissa Rivers explanation of Dennis' allergic reaction to a "cat".. it was a girl named Kitty.. :rotfl2:

I wish he would have fired both too.

And why would they put both stores beside each other. :confused3

I didn't even see them say they had to advertise other then Denis walking to the bars talking to the girls.

I think the next guy to go will be Dennis - then Trump will ask a couple of the girls to come over to the guys team. I can't believe none of the team called Tom out on "going out" with Dennis the night before - really, really expected both of them to be fired. Last night showed that maybe Tom should have been fired instead of Scott. Scott and Tom had friction, but I think others have friction with Tom as well - remember he said Clint Black was so awful, mean to everyone? Oh, and I have to say I were on the show, I would use my celebrity friends for funding when I was project manager - you can't just go back every week asking for more money...

I think the next guy to go will be Dennis.

It looks like Donald mixes the teams up next week. In the preview, they show Dennis with his finger in Clint's face. You can see Melissa standing there. It doesn't look like they are in the suite when it goes down, so my guess is Melissa joins the men's team next week.

does anyone know when they replay the episode? I fell asleep watching it, and missed most of it. I think it is MSNBC, but I'm not sure and I don't know what time.
HELP!

I am hoping that Dennis goes next. I do agree that they both should have been fired last night. It would be interesting to see Melissa go over to the men's team - I wonder how she and Joan will do when they are split up?

Which is exactly why he wasn't fired! We get another week to see what kind of mess he can stir up.
::yes:: I think this is why Trump kept Dennis, too. Keeping him around, there's potential for more drama.

Also, Trump, I think goes to the Knicks games. I remember, when the scandal of him having an affair with Marla Maples came out, a photographer found a picture he had taken several months before of Trump sitting on the sidelines of a game, and there was Marla sitting two seats over, looking over adoringly at him.

Trump is a business man first. He's interested in what will keep or attract viewers watching. :happytv:

People who've watched past seasons know one week he will adamantly say someone has to go for a very specific reason. The next week, he will keep someone over another, even thought they did the exact same thing.

While Dennis is on, he possibly attracts the basketball playing audience.

Yeah, last nite, I felt it so bad for Scott. It was a complete waste of a firing. If Scott had been allowed to stay, he probably at one point would have raised some money for his charity, given the chance to be a Project manager again, once the rebels & deadbeats are gone.

Scott created the "Stars on Ice" show when ice skating was losing popularity and brought it back to the glamour & popularity is it now. He recruited a lot of past, famous Olympic metalists for the show. He does know how to lead a team of collaborative people.

I think his biggest gripe with Tom Green was that Tom was very undisciplined, in addition to running at the mouth. Scott won four consecutive U.S. championships (1981-1984), four consecutive World Championships (1981-1984) and the 1984 Olympics. This is a man who knows discipline and cooperation. Seeing someone with major talent, then is all over the place with it, must irk him.

And I think Clink Black got a bum rap in that episode. I think Tom's verbal spewing so annoyed everyone, that it forced Clint to start yelling "Shut UP!" Wasn't that a Waco compound thing? Where they used constant, unceasing noise to drive the compound members crazy? :headache:

It would be interesting to see Melissa go over to the men's team - I wonder how she and Joan will do when they are split up?

Someone mentioned earlier that she thinks in a head to head combat, Joan will throw Melissa under a bus. I disagree. If you know anything about the history of Joan Rivers and her family, years ago, when Joan was substitute hosting "The Tonight Show" in the last days of Johnny Carson, she had a falling out with Johnny & the producers and was, in essence, fired from the show, and pretty much blacklisted.

Joan's husband, Edgar, was her business manager. He blamed himself for that whole thing and committed suicide. :scared1: :sad1:

It was a horrible, horrible time for Joan. As well as being so angry at Edgar, she almost didn't get out of bed those days. The ONE thing that pulled her through, was she had Melissa to take care of, who was rather young at the time. Joan says they could have drifted apart during that time, lost in their own Hells. Instead, they pulled together and pulled each other forward out of that experience. That is why you most always see the two of them together doing something. They really are that close.

I think, in a head to head showdown, Joan knows she already has a name and a reputation. She has already had a full career and will keep going. She will turn whatever publicity she gets out of being on The Celebrity Apprentice to her advantage. She already won money for her charity.

She knows Mellisa still has a full life and career ahead of her. I think Joan would throw herself under a bus, and allow Melissa the win, as, if Melissa wins the honor of being The Celebrity Apprentice, she can use that to further her own career. And Joan would be rooting for her the whole way. :cheer2: Plus, as a Jewish mother, would she be able to handle the Jewish guilt afterwards, ;) of eating her own young? :scared1:

. . .But then again, Joan can be a real wildcard. :upsidedow Who knows what she will do? popcorn:: :happytv: She may decide to live with the "guilt" and go for it herself, as this maybe her last big hurrah. :scared1:

Melissa could always use it later, "Remember Mom, when you threw me under the bus? I think you owe me now..." :rolleyes1

Scott Hamilton is on Oprah today, talking about overcoming cancer, and how it changed his life.

Tom entertains people for a living. He writes scripts for a living. To not even allow him to contribute to that was stupid. (The girls did the same thing to Joan Rivers...just didn't make any sense!).

Do you recall Joan's big idea for this project? A midget (a MIDGET!) who makes jokes about his lack of endowment.

She's an enormously talented woman, but that was so bizarre a suggestion that no way would I have wanted her to be the creative leader. Later in the same task she asked a vendor they were going to use what his sexuality was. She lucked out (or already knew), but on what planet is that acceptable in business?

She can be professional in the boardroom and in managing time and resources -- I absolutely think she's a team asset. However, when she tries to entertain, she can go waaaaaay over the line, and in any project that involves civilians that can backfire big time if she doesn't watch what comes out of her mouth.

I was flipping channels and see that the rerun for this is on now (East Coast) on NBC. :happytv:

Just started here.....

It is two hours tonight!
