The brand "Oats Overnight"... Have you had it? Do you like it? Think it would make for a good and easy breakfast in the resort room?

I like oatmeal. I'm used to hot oatmeal though and have not yet jumped on the overnight oats band wagon yet.
I came across the brand Oats Overnight and basically you don't really have to do anything in order to make it.
They come in a lot of flavors and its in a individual packets like instant oatmeal. Instead of adding hot water you add milk and put it in a shaker. You shake and then put it in the fridge overnight and then take it out and shake a little in case it settled too much and then you actually drink it instead of eating with a spoon.
We are not morning people and not really breakfast people which stinks when you're at Disney and get up early and need to fuel your body.
My sister usually brings protein powder and she seems to be satisfied. I don't want to eat much but I just feel like I need something with more substance but also hate feeling too full.
I thought this may be a good compromise as it has a lot of protein and fiber etc, plus you add milk which gives so more nutrients, and it has more substance without being too heavy.
Its also very easy to pack and make and you don't need a microwave or hot water etc.
Has anyone tried that brand? Is it good (any flavors you recommend)? Does this seem like a good option for a Disney breakfast?

If it were me I'd purchase the product and try it at home.
I'd want to know how it is taste and texture-wise, and how easy (or not) it is to clean up.

Yes definitely plan on trying before I take it to Disney. I believe you can only buy it on their website though which is why I wonder if anyone else has had it and liked it. If I would walk into the grocery store and grab one packet to sample it would be better but it is what it is.

We had the mocha and the chocolate banana and the flavor is good but the texture of overnight oats is kind of off putting so I wouldn't get them if you hadn't tried overnight oats before. We did not like the peach one. We actually made ours directly in the bag and ate them with a spoon the next day.

My daughter uses just regular quick cooking oats.

Thing is when you make your own and want a flavor profile you generally need multiple ingredients besides just the oats and milk. Such as protein powder, honey, nuts, fruits... The nice thing about this is they did all that for you.

Was it chocolate, banana, peanut butter? That's the one I'm most interested in and think it would taste good cold.
I'm also thinking about the maple pancakes but not sure if that sounds good cold.
I think the texture will be fine because I like those "baby food consistency" fruit pouches with granola.

My daughter makes homemade overnight oats at home, and likes that brand for when she travels. It is basically mushy (bordering on slimy), sweet, cold oatmeal. Personally, I hate it, but dd thinks it's great. If you are ok with mushy, cold oatmeal, you'll probably be fine.

I know what overnight oats are, but I heard of a company called "Oats Overnight".

It might have been but I think it was coffee and chocolate. I don't think it's the consistency of what you mentioned because isn't the granola crunchy if you do it that way? To me overnight oats have the consistency of what I imagine wet cardboard would be. 😂

I don't think I ever answered your question but I do think they would make an easy breakfast at Disney. Have you ever made energy balls before? It's basically a no bake oatmeal cookie. Sometimes I freeze a batch and take them with us for breakfast at Disney. We like peanut butter, oatmeal and chocolate chips but you can really do whatever. Our other go to breakfast is pb&j.

Drinkable overnight oats sound repulsive. Overnight oats, in general, are ok. They’re different in texture to hot oatmeal.

There’s loads of brands available at grocery stores that come in a little jar or cardboard tub that have varying amounts of sugar/protein that you eat with a spoon.
