The best "Home Improvement" we ever did

We have done several home improvements to our humble abode. This includes new windows, driveway, tuckpointing, roof, ect...
I need to state the best ever was accomplished by my DW recently, a new shower head She bought and installed one of those kinds that have all the different settings!

Yesterday I worked 18 hours, I have been working alot of overtime to pay off the kids college tuition and also for our trip in December. This old body of mine does not like such hours It just does not seem to "bouce back" as it did a few years ago

Well today I got in that shower, took my regular shower, then adjusted that fancy head to the setting that spays water in a intense massaging stream on the back and neck...I was a very happy camper and ran the water heater empty Just wish it could do something for the achy knees too. Its the very simple pleasures in life that make me happy

Ok Patrick what you really need is one of those fancy, schmancy, big showers that have multi shower heads positioned all over. Some up high, some down low.
But the cost of that would probably require more over-time!! Hence more pain!

GLO, I DO have some pics of some fine, licensed, massage therapists.............., but they wouldn't pass the DIS censors . These women work sooooooooooooooooo hard kneading and massaging that they usually go topless to allow maximal exertion

We just had our driveway made larger. Now in addition to more parking, DS doesn't have to have his basketball hoop in the road. And even better..we just replaced our 50 year old toilet Doesn't take much to make us happy

Patrick, I am rolling over your home improvement! What is it about guys and those shower heads? DH is so insane for ours, had to go to the store and pick out the exact right one, and he is constantly adjusting it to his liking. Me, I just get in there and let the water run however it wants to run.

Annemarie..tuckpointing is when you have all the mortar between the bricks of your home redone by a mason or tuckpointer...the mortar breaks down with age.

After our last Disney cruise, we purchased a showerhead similar to the ones on the ship. The showerhead has all sorts of settings including one that makes the water feel "silky" and is attached to the water supply with a long hose. I suppose that you could use one of these to massage your knees. It would be a lot easier than standing on your head.
