The Bahamian Rum Runners! May 18, 2012 - 5 Nights on the Magic!

We'll be at the meet-up.

Not so much for the Pirate Night. DW will wear a pirate wench costume she has and I will be wearing a pirate themed aloha shirt, but it seems DD and DS haven't quite caught the spirit yet.

If the kids *suddenly* get into the spirit seeing the others dressed up, Mickey's Mates will be putting out costumes and accessories for the celebration you can buy.

We still wear the Goofy ears we bought on the first cruise. We also bought "Pirate Princess" ones but they disappeared. ''pirate:

My kids are 20 and 24, so I doubt Mickey's Mates will be of much use! :)

However, we still have two weeks to go so who knows what they may decide to do.

We are flying in from Chicago on Thursday morning and staying ay Country Inn and Suites. The boys are planning on spending the day at the beach while moms shop and dads try to find some Rum:rotfl2:

My son and his friend are both 20. Nice to know there are more their age.

You mean this may be the year Taylor (19) doesn't dress up? At least last year, she found use for the bandana. In 2009, she wore Goofy ears.

Its HAPPENING. We've gotten the eye roll for years now on our goofy ways but this may be the end.

When do she grow up so much she gets to be a normal Disney freak the way we raised her?

Don't get me wrong, she is making a list of things of things to do and sometimes, she calls me and sings "Wishes". So she is still Disney.

At least Mackenzie (10) has a costume ready so I won't be alone.

Our kids love WDW, but this will be their first cruise, so they are a little uncertain as to how far they can or should go.

I tend to get the "roll eyes" look when I explain what happens...so they will have to experience it for themselves.

Fish Extenders are DONE and packed. They are pretty good, if I do say so myself. The couples are in a bag (yes, there *IS* Rum) and the kids (even the older kids) get their own bag. I did manage to find something for the young adults and I think I did pretty good. The kids were easy.

11 days until I leave.:goodvibes

This is depressing me. Zander will always be goofy!!! If DD abandons you 'cuz you are being too goofy come hang with us!

Got my documents yesterday. :cool1:

They arrived while I was gone but I feel better now that I've actually got them physically in my possession.

Just a reminder since some of us will be heading off soon.

For those who want to gather and socialize in the Terminal while we're waiting board, I will be wearing a bright YELLOW t-shirt saying "Where has all the rum gone?" and a large green Mad Hatter hat. If you can't find me you're not looking very hard. Sorry no banana costume!

At 3pm we will meet in the Promenade Lounge for a quick meet and greet before the mandatory safety drill at 4pm.

We are packed and ready! Finishing up the FE's. We dont leave leave until Thursday:mad: so those that are leaving soon have a good trip:bitelip:
