Maybe we can do it onboard with a drink in our hands!
so if the rum really does run out... we know who to blame!![]()
I have a dilema.
An extra day at the parks or Wanyama safari?
Jon and Mackenzie don't know about it, but the day we get off of the ship, we are going to Kidani. I booked the Wanyama safari with dinner at Jinko for that day.
But then I started looking at park tickets and I get a day free at the parks. Purchasing through DIS partner.
Should I cancel Wanyami ($700.00) and just go to the parks? Its something I've always wanted to do.... But its pricey.
Just a reminder since some of us will be heading off soon.
For those who want to gather and socialize in the Terminal while we're waiting board, I will be wearing a bright YELLOW t-shirt saying "Where has all the rum gone?" and a large green Mad Hatter hat. If you can't find me you're not looking very hard. Sorry no banana costume!
Bought my DH a yellow T-Shirt that says "I drank all the rum"
He will be wearing it
I have been following along for a long time (lurking) as you can see by my join date, but never really felt the need to post. This seems like a good group, so I decided to break down the wall. We will be joining you on the May 18th sailing. Our party consists of:
B.J. (me) - 35
Emily (wife) - 30
Hunter (son) - 2
Bob (my dad)
Debbie (my mom)
Looking forward to potentially running into a few of you over the cruise.
We'll see you at the M&G in the Promenade Lounge at 3 before the sailaway party, if we don't see you before we board the ship. Sounds like the group might be hard to miss.I think I may have a black t-shirt that says something about rum. I'll have to see if I can find it.
I noticed from our M&G list, there are quite a few college-aged kids. I mentioned it to DD20. She suggested they should all go to the college meet (will be in the Navigator). It's a good opportunity to meet others in that same age group since there is no "club" for that age. Last cruise, the college-aged kids that met got together at different times to do things like go out dancing, hang at the hot tub, etc. They had a lot of fun and some of them are still friends via Facebook.

I'm urging DS (20) to attend in hopes that he'll find some kindred souls to hang out with.
Join us at 3:00 Promenade Lounge for some RUM

Does anyone have any idea if they will allow our oldest DD (she is 23) to join in on the college aged fun? She is still in college and has at least another year and a half to go. Who would have thought getting a degree in elementary special ed was so involved?
I know she would probably enjoy hanging out but wasn't sure if they would let someone 2 years older join in?

I read somewhere recently that the college club was for 18-24 year olds.
