thanks to both of you. And thank you to everyone who has stuck with me and sent prayers and encouragement. I appreciate everyone here so much!! I am taking the Reglan now, for my stomach. It seems to be working fine, but it makes me restless. And I still don't have all my strength back. I asked the doctor about the restlessness last Friday when I saw him, and he said that's pretty normal, and that it should go away in a couple of weeks. I find that if I take half my pain pill sometimes it will help to level me out. I don't want to "abuse" them but if it works, I will do it every so often. I just can't go on feeling this way 24/7. I hope it goes away soon!
Now, on a happier note...over the father's day/bday weekend, Mike and I did PLENTY of shopping. I will have to take some pictures of our purchases later and post them.
It was a very busy weekend in all. Friday morning, Mike mowed the lawn, I did some laundry and dishes and played with the dogs. Well, he did let me sleep in a little as a nice birthday present. We took Chance to the vet, and the vet said he is a healthy puppy! He got his first shot, and he did very well through the whole visit so I was such a proud Momma!!
After my doctor's appointment, we went back home to let the dogs out again, and then we were on our way to Metairie (New Orleans area with lots of businesses that we DON'T have in Hammond) to do some shopping.
We went to PetSmart
made a tag for Chance with his name on it, bought some dog treats and dog food. Luckily, the big bag of Science Diet was on sale!
Then, we went to Bed, Bath, and Beyond. I had a 20% off coupon for our WHOLE purchase (rather than the usual 20% off of one item) so I wanted to see what we could get. I bought something I've been wanting for a while now--a Kapoosh knife block

We got the stainless steel one to match all the rest of our countertop items (our appliances aren't stainless steel yet---but will be one day!)
I also got a nice soft bath rug for our bathroom. It was SO nice stepping out onto that rather than the cheapo one we had before.

We went to Target and found those magic lids (I cant recall what they are called now) on clearance for $5 for a set of 4. We bought them out of curiosity, and now I think we may have to get some more because they really do work!
We also went to the mall, where I bought a cute pink bra at Victorias Secret, and another something to sleep in.

I stopped in Ann Taylor and was looking at the dresses on sale but was unsuccessful. I did, however, find a pair of jeans on sale for $50, but got 30% off for Friends and Family day (I asked the cashier if she had an extra coupon and she said she did!) so I paid $38 with tax.
I normally am pretty cheap and find my jeans for under $30 but I am just THRILLED with the way these fit! I love, love, LOVE them!! I will have to take a pic with them on next time I wear them. I wore them Saturday and the first thing my mom said was Oh Cheri, youre so SMALL! I have lost about 10 pounds since Ive been sick. And the new jeans(size 0) really showed it off. Obviously Im not happy I was sick, but I admit I am happier with my figure now. The biggest difference is in my hips. Before I had gotten sick I think they had been GROWING like wildfire!
Believe it or not, that wasnt all. We went to Sams Club and I got some Gain. We were supposed to be getting orange juice, snacks, etc. Well, that all changed when Mike saw the fountain. Yes, my friends, we bought a fountain. We are those people now. It was a floor model so it was significantly cheaper than regular price (60% cheaper to be exact) and since my husband is such an impulse buyer he just could not resist. I kept telling him he was completely nuts and he insisted on loading in the cart. I had to help for fear he would break the darn thing and wed have to pay for it anyway!
Saturday my parents and younger sister came over and finally got to meet Chance. They were shocked that we got a new puppy, but excited for us. They were oohing and ahhing at him, and played with him a bunch, all the while sure to give the same amount of attention to Merlin.
We ate dinner at Cracker Barrel (breakfast foods are easy on my stomach) and went to Dillards afterwards. I have had a $25 gift card since Christmas, and finally used it
well, most of it.
I got 3 shirts and still didnt exhaust it.
We also went to
Walmart where my mom got a new Hoover vacuum, and I finally got a stainless steel bag holder (but ended up bringing it back yesterday because it was broken
)
Yesterday (when I bought back the bag holder) I bought some bones and treats at Walmart with some Purina coupons I had, and found a few cute shirts for myself. 2 are just T-shirts (baby Winnie the Pooh, and baby Chip and Dale!) and 2 were nicer shirts, and the 4 of them were a total of $16.
So that was my weekend. Oh, almost forgot, I made some internet orders last week which arrived over the weekend. We got a new featherbed from Overstock, and I ordered a bunch of makeup from Ulta.com---the Bare Minerals starter kit, the Bare Minerals color kit, some Smashbox bronzer with a free eyeshadow trio, Too Faced Lash Injection mascara, and Too Faced liquif-eye (which lets you turn ANY eyeshadow into eyelinerand works AWESOME!!)
Okay, so THAT was my weekend, purchases and all! Youd think I would be broke right now. Oh wait, I am!!

I have a friend with 2 of them and they are the sweetest dogs! You have to continue to post pictures of him changing since it happens so fast! Merlin will come around, I'm sure he's confused a little right now 
Mike has wanted one for a long time. I will definitely post pictures. I am sure I will be taking a lot.
