The Amazing Race 16 will feature teams of two, each with a pre-existing relationship, in a race around the world.
The show will premiere on CBS on February 14, 2010, at 8 pm EST

The upcoming sixteenth season spans five continents and nine countries, including Chile, France, and for the first time, Seychelles, in 40,000 miles.

I do recognize that one girl, Caitlyn, I think her name is. She was all over YouTube when she was in the Miss Teen USA pageant for her ridiculous answer she gave to one of the questions! It was hilarious!

Me too! I am so excited for Survivor this season....seriously jumping out of my skin excited. Can't wait!

I read all the bios yesterday. The cowboys are from a small town in Oklahoma that my coworker is from. She said they are actually pretty well known professional cowboys....not the country bumpkins the producers will probably make them out to be. She said the family is really nice and the mother is a very popular photographer in the area. My coworker had her senior pictures taken by her. It will be interesting to see their edit.

Big Brother winner Jordan Lloyd and her fan-favorite boyfriend Jeff Schroeder will make up one of the 11 teams racing almost 40,000 miles on the 16th edition of the show, which premieres Feb. 14 (8 p.m. EST) on CBS.

Departing from Los Angeles, the teams will have to make their way on public transportation to LAX, where they’ll hop a flight to their first destination, Chile, where they’ll face one of the most daunting Roadblocks in the show’s history, according to a CBS press release.

Also competing: Caite Upton, the former Miss South Carolina Teen USA who became a YouTube sensation after flubbing her answer to a question from pageant judges. Now a model, she’ll race with her boyfriend Brent Horne.
