Hello my dear wonderful friends....boy have I missed a lot....things have been so crazy here, trying to get ready for my dad coming tomorrow!
I also went to see Kris' grandmother the other day as she is not doing very well at all....it is sad to see a very classy lady lost in herself with dementia. She could last years like this or days....no one knows.....if she knew how she was she would be furious, like her Dr said....if she was aware she would let go, but human nature makes you fight without realizing it.
I missed a ton over the days and just did a brief skim so if I miss anyone or thing I didn't mean anything by it.
Kat--I am glad to see you are feeling better. I wish we were neighbors, Ross would love to take care of Sammie for you. (me too)
Nancy--Glad that things went ok with your test the other day, but I am so very sorry for the passing of your furbaby. Even though it was the right thing to do, it doesn't make it any easier. Crazy how animals just steal our hearts. I send you big hugs my friend!
I also want to send HUGE hugs and congrats to Kady....she is just working so hard and doing great!! I am sure she had a fun date with her pa!
Ann--Goodness vent away, if it wasn't for here, between my martyr in law issues, and the passing of my dear mom I would be crazy by now. These women on here keep me sane! Once again "thanks to Lindsay!!"
Lauren--I too woke up with the sinus allergy crud going on, I should have know it was coming this year I seem to really be getting hit with it (another wonderful thing about getting older I guess) When I was at the bank the other day I had to close my moonroof as it looked like it was snowing in my car from the dandlion fluff.
I hope that A feels better soon!!
Aimee--prayers and fingers crossed for you and Dh on the whole job search.
Becky--That sandwich looked soooo good! How do you prepare it. I am sure it is basic, but I want to do it just like it looked, mmmm. Looking forward to the rest of your pictures, as always. Great one of the Hawk too!
Glynis--Your trip is right around the corner, I am so looking forward to hearing all about it when you return. My brother and dsil took the girls a few years ago and were in awe of the history that they felt around them.
I see that Stephanie popped in for a bit, hope you have a great time at the wedding.
Gretchen--I am glad to hear that dss is giving you a bit of a break from the issues. Hope things continue to get better on that front.
How is our sweet Hailey doing.....has she found the new hiding spots for the candy yet?
Sheryl--Love hearing that Alexis is having such a great time...she is our iron chef and tour guide now!!
Oh I hope I covered my bases. I am all over the place with thoughts and such.
I am anxious and excited and a bit nervous for my dad to come in tomorrow. I haven't seen him since my mom passed, so I know when I first see him at the airport it will be emotional for myself. I think this will be a fun month and very good for both of us. My grandmother (dads mom) is looking forward to seeing her "Willard" (the only one who calls him that everyone else is either Will or Stu, lol). Ross has plenty of plans already for him and Grampy too.
I will try to get on tomorrow evening to let you know how it was to see him. I am prepared for him to look different, does that make sense?
We are leaving for Boston at 9am. Have a nice Sunday everyone!!
