Hi everyone.
Today has been really busy. School was OK although we had to do many things today that we should have done yesterday but were unable to. Now I have to be at the theatre in half an hour to record some vocals for some scenes in the show.

I know I can't come to WDW with you guys in October but we did decide to book another 2 nights at the theme park hotel we stayed at in the summer. This time we are staying for 2 nights and are going to use the spa that is there too as well as the water park. It should be fun as the park will be done up for Halloween and there is a firework and laser display one night. As the park stays open for this they also keep the rides open after dark (the park usually shuts before dark.) I can't wait as I have never ridden my favourite rides in the dark before. I think we are doing this the week after you guys go to WDW.

I guess I should get ready to go to the theatre. I will see my friend tonight and ask her how her dad is doing in Florida. He is supposed to fly home on the 11th but am not sure if he will with Ivan on its way.

How was your life today.

Not much going---I have to planned several trips this week for November and December---none to WDW. We are going to Baltimore then to Boston then back to Baltimore in November (Baltimore is about a half way point and well---free meals at in-laws) with maybe a day trip to DC to visit some museums. December is for visiting our families for the holidays.

It has been ages since I been to The Mall---I miss the Air and Space museum and the Natury History museum. I haven't see DC tourist sites since 8/2001. We usually don't have the time to go when we visit family. We could go get some crab cakes in Baltimore.

I hope to be in WDW again, maybe in the winter or spring---when most kids are in school.

You are lucky---we planned our last WDW trip in less than 6 weeks ahead.

I'm going to be an actor. I was volunteered by a teacher who wants me to be in some play. I don't even know the name of it. I am James and I have 4 lines.

That is cool. My sister and I both did plays in high school, however I was in several musical plays and drill team for a couple of years. She was in the band and other activities in addition. I had fun in different skits.

For those not going to WDW but visiting me I booked us into the Cadburys chocolate suite at the Alton Towers hotel (seriously there is a Cadburys chocolate room where they hide chocolate for you to find in the room and if you can't find any or have found it all and want more you pull an emergency cord which delivers more!! :sunny: :hyper: ) This is the hotel I am really going to in October but am not really staying in the suite (way too expensive, about £1500 for 2 nights!!)

I spoke to my friends daughter tonight. Things are not good for them. They lost the roof and the ceilings in two upstairs rooms fell in. The roof is now covered in tarps and will be until the professional roof builders can fix it in December (they now need a complete new roof which they are unable to do themselves.) He however is OK and is returning home on Saturday.

Thanks DANAUK. Save me the roll away bed. That is about ALL I can afford!!!

I'm thinling about joining the Drama Club in High School posibly.

Nice place Danauk. You should get to bed tough. It's late there. What about 11:33 unless I'm mistaken..::yes::

Ugh. I've had a crappy day today. At about 3am, my husband woke me up to say that our door blew open (we forgot to lock it after bringing in groceries last night) and the cat was missing. Yikes!

So we got up and searched in the dark with flashlights. DH saw her briefly; a neighbor cat scared her and she ran past him but disappeared. We live in an apartment complex with lots of two-story buildings with exterior stairwells (like six for each building) and cars and bushes and trees everywhere. Tucha is STRICTLY an indoor-only cat, and we live near some very busy streets and a railroad track. Not good. She has a collar and ID tag for this kind of thing, but it doesn't protect her from cars and trains.

Of course, it's not easy to find a gray cat in the dark. So we looked for a while and then DH took a short nap. We set out stinky food for her so she could be lured back to the right doorway--they all look alike--and I waited for light. Then I went out again and met up with a couple of maintenance people who ride around the apartments in golf carts and explained about Tucha. They said they'd keep an eye out for her.

I don't know how many times I circled the complex, making silly noises and calling her name. Finally I go back to our apartment and DH says that he'll go search in the car but he needs to take another nap first. Just after he goes into the bedroom, the nice wonderful angelic maintenance lady arrives with my precious kitty! Turns out she was hiding in one of the stairwells on the second story. I'd been concentrating on the first floor part of the stairwells because we live on the first floor. I must have passed her at least six times.

Phew! So Tucha is safe from the big bad outside world. DH, Tucha and I are all very very very tired. I took a four-hour nap, and Tucha slept on my feet. :teeth:

Drama clubs are fun. I run the drama club at our school.

I'm going to bed soon as it is 10:40 here (we are an hour behind other parts of Europe as we have British Summer time.)

Laura, I'm glad you found you cat safe and well. I know how worried you can get if you loose a cat for a while.

Oh well, I'm sure between seeing my godchildren, the Food Festival and partying with the Divas, I'll manage to have a good time ;)
