The all new extension to Tagliarchy Island.

Hello everyone!!

Well, I did stay home today from church, so it was a nice and relaxing day. I love movies!! Today I watched, "Footloose," "Never Been Kissed," "She's All That," and that's it, but last night we saw "Shreck 2" (my second time, my parents' first) at the dollar theatre. Yeah...

Oh, did I tell ya'll that my brother was going to Colorado for the weekend? Yeah, his girlfriend lives there (well, her parents live in Florida, God bless them!, she just goes to college in Colorado) and it was her b-day, so she called him up last Tuesday and asked for him to come for the weekend. He got his own airplane tickets, drove himself up to Dallas, and everything on Thursday and he came back today. My parents thought that his plane landed around 6, but we haven't heard from him yet... He's 20 years old now. Wow, scary thought... Anywho... I think he got engaged, but my parents said they would be sooooo mad if he did...he's not ready for marriage. I just think it's sweet. Then again, I love chick flicks and I'm all for happily-ever-afters!!

He met her at Philmont Scout Ranch where he worked this summer before he went to Austria. She worked there too, and they always went on hikes together and everything. But then he had to leave early, so this was the first time they've seen each other since then!! Whenever I hear about her from him, I'm all like, "awwwwwwww" because I'm such a chick! :earsgirl: Oh well.. I think I'll just stop boring ya'll and be quiet!!

Oh wait, one more thing! I was watching the Weather Channel this morning and I came up with the idea of getting my school to donate money to the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund. So I called the president of one of the clubs I'm in and she said that was a really good idea!! We have to go talk to the club sponsor on Tuesday after school to get a go-ahead, but I've already made labels and everything!! I'm so pumped even though I don't really know why!!

Okay, I'm done. Oh, we don't have drill team practice tomorrow, so hopefully I'll get better by Tuesday!!

A few months ago, there was a thread about Tacky Weddings on the Community Board.....it was hilarious and if you can find it, you'll really enjoy it....::yes::

I did see it. I thought it was very funny. Sometimes brides get carried away with "their" day but forget about guests and what they want.

 good news our Island home survived Frances and all the buildings and gardens are just as picture perfect as before...not a tree down or a pond destroyed...

Hi all, a lot seems to have happened.....

DHSsenior007, feel better!!!!! THAT IS AN ORDER YOUNG LADY!!!!!! (how does that sound? oh, here's a bunch of PD....Oh, and about your DB, if this is the first time that they have seen each other in a few years, it may be a little early for a ring...but imported Chocolate is never out of style,,,,,Oh, and if you e-mail me the pictures, I will put them in a place you can use them (I am not sure about turning them into .COM files; I have seen Picture publisher save them as .EXE files, but the DIS recognizes JPG and GIF fairly well, and it doesn't like the .COM files.....once again, FEEL BETTER!!!!!

ibouncetoo, I just know you will LOVE DL, I hope you get to ride Soarin'; Nieceosaurus and Nephosaurus loved it. especially since they were able to face forward in their "DRAGON BJORN" (AKA backpack). I knew America WORST would do that, but I am sure that there is a press release citing what they did, and making those unwary ask for the free change.

Danauk, I was once at a wedding that the reception was in a field and a carnival type atmosphere. It was really fun and not stuffy. The bride and groom changed into their formal swimsuit at 10:00 and went inside a dunking booth. I seem to recall you saying that these family members were unable to fathom how you take so many great vacations, just as they are unable to fathom how hard of a worker you (and Pete) are. I hope you out shined the bride....OK, I am bad, but I see a few lazy people.....Be good, and maybe we will see you next year at Tag Baby Tigger

Good afternoon everyone.
Well 2 days back at school and I feel like I never left the place!! My class seem nice (although my boy with issues is in Spain for 2 weeks so things could change.) My maths group however are slightly more interesting! Most of the children with behaviour problems are in the oldest year group. During the afternoon they are split between mine and another teachers class along with some children the year group lower. During the morning however we have put most of them in one class for English and Maths lessons. This means the behaviour problems are all together. Oh well, it makes for an interesting day.

We did have something interesting happen today though. The oh so cleaver builders who are building the new housing estate at the side of the school (the ones who have already cut through our phone line, burgular alarm and not built the road in time) managed to cut through our main water pipe. We have no water so SCHOOL IS CLOSED TOMORROW!!:teeth:
I think tomorrow I will go to the hairdressers followed by a little shopping!!

Oh well I better go and catch up on the rest of the posts and Pete has just made dinner (just pasta and a spicy tomato sauce tonight.)

geffric I'm glad your home is OK. Where abouts is it ?

:wave2:

Time to get ready for the day.

Yes, I know its almost 3pm Eastern---Jessie had doggie nightmares last night and I slept in. Yes, I'm in my jammies.:teeth:

Hola!!

Yeah, I haven't been on in a while, just lurking! I really shouldn't be on right now, I'm supposed to be studying for a chemistry test tomorrow, but I don't feel like it!! I have practice tonight from 6-9, too... Oh well! I am feeling better, though! Ummmm... nothing big has really happened. Oh, my brother did get home. He didn't get engaged (darn it!! ;) ), but they did have a 'serious talk' about their future and everything. He's going to still go to Austin College in Sherman and she'll still go to her Colorado college. My parents seemed happy, and I guess I should be too, but it's not my fairy tale ending for my brother yet.... I still have hope!! Hehe!!

I guess I should go!!

Buenos Noches!!
