Does the Contemporary charge a fee to have water shipped to the hotel prior to arrival?

TIA for help
Nancy

I don't know about shipped pkgs, but we had a grocery delivery and there was no fee to hold our stuff until we got checked into our room.

There have been a couple of threads over the last 6 months about how Disney has hired an outside firm to handle some services at the convention resorts. There have been reports of people shipping things to themselves and having a $5 charge per package. If you have groceries delivered to bell services from gardengrocer.com or wegoshop.com, you should not get the charge. We didn't get charged for their receiving our gardengrocer.com order on 11/29. I understand that this is just for shipments like UPS, FedEx, etc.

We just returned about a week ago and had a gardengrocer delivery that the CR/BLT held and delivered with no delivery charge. Sorry, I don't know anything about charges with FedEx or UPS.:confused3

You can swim 24/7, however, the lifeguards are only there until around 10PM, I think.

We stayed at BLT from 12/12-12/19 and used their pool on several occasions. The entry is coded for use with the KTTW card, but opens easily if you just lift the lever on the gate. Even on the hottest afternoons, there were never more than about 10-15 people in the pool at any one time. The kids really liked the slide, though my 12 year old actually enjoyed the area that had the water jets shooting up at her more than the slide... go figure!
In talking with one family, they were NOT residents staying at BLT, they were at CR, but no one seemed to be checking or mind in the least. Of course, it may not be an issue until the pool gets crowded.
I will try to put together something of a TR sometime soon, we LOVED it!

Today my family and I finally got our August 2010 confirmation sent via e-mail and I noticed that our bounceback rate was less expensive then I thought. The total cost is $349.00 per night when you factor in the extra $25.00 for the 3rd adult, so the before that the cost for the Atrium Club - Bay Lake View with the bounceback rate is really $324.00 per night. It turns that the $392.62 number I posted earlier in my trip review was the cost of our 1st night deposit.

Hey sweet pea can you tell me what all you get with the Atrium club level? I hope you have a great New Year.

Lissiesmum, are you doing fireworks tonight? I just got back from getting mine now I hope my family can get through the night without visiting the ER because someone forget to throw the firecracker after they lit it. Happy New Year if I don't hear from you tonight.

Pjimmeyer, great pictures absolutely beautiful. all these were taken off your balcony correct?

Well my family and I arrived home a few hours ago from Clearwater Beach and as promised here are the various pictures I took all over the Contemporary.

Thank you but were the hot snacks really hot and not just sweets. those pics show a lot of sweets
The two hot items in one of those pictures is the Beef Kafta Skewers and Prosciutto Wrapped Sea Scallops which are hot, but really hot. Also in that same pictures the only sweet item would be the Peanunt Butter & Jelly Sandwiches and besides that was various Cheeses and Veggies.

In the other picture from the Atrium Club lounge is of the various items for breakfast, where they might have a bit more sweet items. Although the most sweet items are served from 8:00 PM - 10:00 PM during the desserts. However I don't have a picture of them because I forgot to take one.

Is it safe to say that there is no eggs or pancakes for breakfast?

Just saw Fantasy in the Sky from 12th floor of Contemporary. Actually, we saw it last night also, and we had to see it again.

It was one of the best fireworks shows we've ever seen at Disney. Considering the perimeter effects, I have to admit that Contemporary is THE BEST place to see MK's New Years Eve fireworks.

Happy New Year!
