The ABC's of Trip Planning, Pt 1- K is for Keeping Things Kooky- Drinks V-Z; pg. 197 + New Link

I pushed the submit button, I saw a 45/50- a 90%!!!!!! That is the first A (only barely, but heck YEAH, I'll take that!) I've gotten all term! WOOT!

"Woot" indeed! Way to go!!

The Girlies and I went out promptly to celebrate with breakfast and Bloody Marys,

A very fitting celebration.

My family will be thrilled that ketchup will not be the main dish again tonight.

but.... but... I like ketchup!

2 more cylces of this, 1 paper, 4 Clincal days and 1 Final to go. Thank you all very dearly for your encouraging words and hanging in there with me!

You got this!!!

Congratulations! That is no small feat!

And how fun is that? Breakfast and Bloddy Marys!

I can understand where doing normal daily tasks could be seen as a celebration as you've had your nose in a book for so many hours for so long. Good for you. Baby steps. Just a few more and the term will be over and before you know it you will be all done and have those letters after your nane.

Liesa, that is a great result!! And you even beat your usual 88% from last term!! Congratulations!!

I hope I did didn't confuse any of you by saying that I was almost done. While this TERM is a little more than halfway done now, I still have 2 terms left. :)

De-lurking again to say Congrats on your A!

I'm still in awe at how well you've kept up with everything, with how busy you are! I'm only half as busy as you (roughly) and I still feel like I don't have time to post on anything regularly!

Oh, not to worry. I'm always in a state of confusion so you can't really add much to it.

And you're hawt... and smart... not necessarily in that order.

Not necessarily not in that order.

OH, I can most definitely say it's in that order! :rotfl2::lmao::rotfl:

Sometimes you need to re-charge the batteries.

For sure. And sometimes you just need a new one.

On a totally and completely different topic...
Have you seen the Banned for Life thread?

Just curious.

NO! But it sounds like a must-visit-soon thread. Point the way, Sir!

::yes:: If I wanted to take a half hour to get one shot... that was okay.

Now you're speaking my language!

Ingrates!

You read my mind!

Got it. Might ask again sometime.
Weird rumblings going on back at the homestead.

Oh boy.... PM if you care to share...

Or ever.. in my case.

Say it's not true!!!

Wow. Your AK plans sound amazing. And I love that you'll have time to just wander around and possibly see something really cool. There just never seems to be enough time...I like your idea of prioritizing...to do less and really smell the roses. Great idea.

This is a fab idea...I'm sure it will be aweome for food and atmosphere!

AK is the one park I truly build in time to slow down and just take it in. If you just take a few minutes, it won't disappoint! The music, landscaping, art....

Woot! Caught back up! I had been slacking on catching up on subs... I may or may not have been just stalking food and wine TRs!!

Those look like corn nuggets!

Then, slackers, UNITE! I was so far behind it wasn't even funny! And it'll continue to be that way until Christmas break when I'll make up for lost time. Speaking of F&W threads, I should hit some of those up myself. But sadly.... a major lack of freetime is happening right now. :(

Hey I like these dates! I'm arriving on the 18th so now we overlap!

OK, I can understand that. I liked you living room. It looks very nice and homey. And clean. Unlike mine. :rolleyes1

:dancer::dancer::dancer::dancer:

That definitely calls for some dancing dudes! I already have some ideas of DISMeet .... things.... ;)

That is the one room, we really don't use much at all except for the winter months. And now that it's fire season again, I"ve started to use (take it over, actually) it more. It really is a nice room!

My searching cost 45$ the other night... I wanted sushi afterwarda haha

Um, OK - you lost me at the celebration including laundry, dishes, and grocery shopping. You aren't including those things in your Disney celebration plans, are you? Because if you are, you might want to talk to someone professional on one of your shifts, if you get my drift, lol!

LOL! No, definitely NO laundry, (well, maybe a tiny bit), NO cooking, and only shopping for baked goods to eat on the veranda with coffee. ;)

Oh, not to worry. I'm always in a state of confusion so you can't really add much to it.

Then you are in very good company...

THank you each and every one for your happy dancing with me! There is no mathematical way to get an A overall this term, but those are EXTREMELY rare for 2nd Year, and honestly, I"m totally ok with a B! I'd have to get a 95 or higher on both tests to get that.... not happening. Still.... I was invited into the Phi Kappa Honor Society this week and want to pony up the $90 NOW before my 4.0 tanks in December. A 'B' in a 12 credit class is gonna KILL that for sure. Maybe even low enough that I wouldn't qualify, and you KNOW I'mma wear my tassles and bling when I walk!! ;)

OH, and I"m already thinking about my mortarboard! I have some super cute ideas which I'll share over Christmas break.

I do ever so love getting instant feedback on Exam Scores! After 2 more long weeks of grueling hours of studying, I was pretty much gleeful when, as I pushed the submit button, I saw a 45/50- a 90%!!!!!! That is the first A (only barely, but heck YEAH, I'll take that!) I've gotten all term! WOOT!

It is a good thing DD isn't in your family. She'd be disappointed if ketchup weren't the main dish. :rotfl2:

We thankfully have a pretty awesome buffet place here. Not the best sushi. But the hibachi and dumplings are awesome. Nor bad for 13.50 per adult for all you can eat.
Buahahahaha!! That sounds about right!! I could swim in sushi and eat it all night long!!!

One never knows what they'll get around here. One day ketchup, the next day, sushi, Thai curry, or tuna sandwiches. Just depends on how exhausted I am or how long it's been since I"ve shopped. Cuz, you know, I'm the only one with 2 functional arms and 2 working legs to shop with. :sad2::rolleyes2

Sounds delicious! I LOVE dumplings of ANY kind!!!

Congrats on your A! That's awesome!! :cheer2: Looks like I missed the "N" update somehow. Gotta go back and read:blush:

Thanks!! Yes, N is quite a nice update full of nifty plans! :thumbsup2
