The 5 Biggest Needs at Walt Disney World

It is about how many countries were involved with process. I tried both and know what I am talking about, but please buy it where you want.:confused3 I gave info, what to do with it is up to you.

Kelly, with all due respect this is simply NOT true. I used to work for Estee Lauder and the cities on the packaging has nothing to do with "how many countries were involved with the process". The cities on all cosmetic packaging means where they sell their products. These are usually major cities such as New York, Hong Kong, Paris etc. The quality is the same, the packaging may just say France, but the quality is the same exact ingredients.

A few weeks ago during a quarterly results call Disney CEO Bob Iger seemed to imply that once the Magic Kingdom’s new Fantasyland is done and California Adventure’s remake is complete that will be the end of major projects for the parks, at least for a while.

Really, really, really not a good call. I'm one of those folks who can say (in all earnestness and meant it) that a lack of innovation and expansion from Disney at the same time as all this room doubling can and will burn through my willingness to go. Disney World is probably unwreckable, but this is personally distressing.

I agree that AK needs maybe a few more attractions and especially that DHS's left side needs to be completely redone. In fact, just kill the idea that it's a "studio" entirely. It's not, we all know it's not, and as a backlot it's just too quaint and lame.

I don't care if Harry Potter gets answered, and I don't necessarily need more thrill rides. Like I say, DHS has a lot of wasted space. They can single-theme it if they want, but I'd be just as happy with a bunch of new attractions.

Nobody needs to tinker with the vintage MK stuff at all. There's a list of about twenty places that were either never successful or have fallen into disrepair, and need reimagining from the ground up. Not just the backot, but Dinoland and too many hunks of FutureWorld to be named. Not to mention that, with rooms multiplying, add-ons are much more important than refurbs.

Hey Alll!

Wouldn't it be cool to have a monorail connection to the Wilderness Lodge? The Lodge is only a few hundred feet (I'm guessing) from the Contemporary.

I would also love to see a people mover that go to all the hotels instead of the gas guzzling buses.

Lastly, I would love to see another park. Magic Kingdom was established in 1971, EPCOT 1982, DHS 1989?, and Animal Kingdom 1997? It seemed like every 10 years or so they would develop a new park. I think it's well over due! LOL!

Thanks all!
Brunette

They sell it in more cities(yours for example) and more countries like Italy and so on but they do not have it on a box. They have same products with Made in France and London/ Paris/ New York, and LPNY missing Made in... line completely. I totally respect your knowledge on the subject but I also have some, including practical, so I propose to respectfully agree to disagree. If on any of your future trips you will decide to check what I said, please feel free to PM me to compare the notes. Have a good day.

My top 5 current WDW needs:

1. Another park, focus on thrill rides
2. A Disney style counter service restaurant at DTD
3. A stroller free day once a year (I can dream)
4. free wifi @ resorts
5. Monorail between Epcot, DHS, and AK

I agree with number 3. I sometimes think that the people with strollers think they own the place (not all).

Free wifi would be nice too...

I'm not saying don't use strollers, but I can't tell you how many times I've had my ankles taken out, been cut off, or kicked by a kid in a stroller. I'm just saying that people with strollers need to be a little more aware of the other people around them. Again not everyone is like this, but I'd say a good 1/4 of the people using strollers don't pay attention.

and vice-versa...we try to be aware of people around us when pushing our stroller, but lots of people also think nothing of cutting in front of or stopping short in front of a person with a stroller.

I think it boils down to each individual and their own respect of others and lack of selfishness. Not whether it's one group or another guilty of an infraction.

Some people with strollers do not pay attention, some walkers do not pay attention, some ECV do not pay attention, key word SOME , not 1/4 or any particular number. Everyone should be more aware and careful. In a place like Disney it is impossible to do stroller free day, simply against nature.

Agreed. Good point!

top 5 needs:

1. Fix Tomorrowland: make it a consistent future theme..the retro future style of the structures is a good start, but SM and Buzz are the only ones that feel like they belong. Stitch is an abomination, Monsters is good, but not 'futuristic'. Tomorrowland Speedway has so much potential for a futuristic driving experience..

2. Add the Indy Ride in DL somewhere in WDW.

3. Epcot France: provide makeup made in Paris
4. Epcot France: provide makeup made in London
5. Epcot France: provide makeup made in NY

Clearly the France pavillion is NOT meeting the cosmetic needs of it's guests as evidence by this thread. :rotfl2:

I'll probably get flamed big time for this, but, I would like one place in the MK where I could buy a cold beer.:thumbsup2

:thumbsup2 If they complete Gaston's tavern with the FL expansion, this would be the perfect place... one can only hope, though.

They need a day where they just ban everyone from the park. (Even that won't work, because then everyone will complain)

No way you're going to get beer in MK..but that's what the bar at the Wave is for.

Free wifi..!!

Love the peoplemover vs. Buses!!

Maybe not so much at MK, but I could see them not wanting to add WiFi at DL to avoid a crowd of lingers sitting around all day on their iPads and laptops. It would kinda suck if that crowd infiltrates the parks and takes up valuable butt space for the vacationers and day trippers.

I absolutely love the idea of a Star Wars themed land!!!! Count me in!

I like the idea of having beer and liquor at MK too but I also kind of like that they don't sell it. I was at Epcot a couple months ago and had to step around not one, but TWO, puddles of vomit :scared1:
