Yes, and it got even worse when that empty headed, noddle-brained person sued a place because they put to much ice in the glass, like tea was some sort of highly prized commodity and the were getting screwed out of their fair share. The more ice you get the colder the tea is and the longer it lasts. Just the other day I headed down to Florida from North Carolina and I stopped on the way out of town at a McDonald's where they had the BIG cups for Iced Tea. I made that last for almost the complete 9 hour trip. Sure it was a little weak by the end, but, it was still cold and the tea flavor still existed.Don't you just hate it when you go to a restaurant and they give you about 2 ice cubes in your iced tea? And they just brewed it so it is warm anyway and the ice is gone before you can even pick it up?

Yes, it was and rightfully so, but, it also served to make places kind of gun shy. It is understandable if it is for a coke or something that is harmed by being watered down. Ice Tea has a very hard time being watered down when it is 99% water to begin with.FWIW, that lawsuit was dismissed.

I have made a habit now of just saying... lot's of ice please!
And living down south I have to also tell them I want unsweetened tea otherwise I will automatically get Sweet Tea. The diabetic inducer!
