The 3 Girls Do Disney President's Week! A TR with Tons of Pics! *UPDATE* DONE!!!

Day 5, cont...

By this time it was not quite 7pm, and I was officially done with the Magic Kingdom for the day. But good heavens, our dinner reservation at Crystal Palace wasn't till 7:50pm. We decided to head over there anyway and see if possibly we could get in early. We checked in, and they said it would be close to 7:50pm before we'd be seated. Oh well, we decided to wait.

Those castle pics are taken from the porch.

The whole entire area was SWAMPED with people waiting, and I found it funny how many people came up and asked about walk-ins. hahahahahha Not likely! After a few minutes, we managed to get a bench on the porch to wait, and surprisingly, we were seated at about 7:30pm. That was nice! Woohoo, time to meet Pooh and Friends!!

When we were seated, Lily had to go potty pretty bad, and since there were no characters in sight, I figured we had time. By the time we got out, Pooh was at our table holding Lily's stuffed Pooh and holding his hand up to his brow as if he was searching for her. She ran over to him. She thought it was so cute that he was waiting for her!!

This is a lame picture of our dessert, and I'm sure we tried more than this, but the key lime pie was REALLY good here, Mom LOVED the coconut flan, and I'm sure that chocolate thingy was great, too! ;)

After a really fun and tasty meal, we finally headed back to Allstar Movies. Thank goodness we had seen Spectro and Wishes on a previous night, because I was toast by this point, and really not feeling very well. We got back to the hotel and I fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow. A super-exhausting, back-and-forthy, extremely Magical day!!!!!

WOW! That is one very impressive MK day!!!!!

hi its lily i know i was exasted!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hehehe, my little DISer in training! But yes, the consensus is it was an EXHAUSTING day! And we haven't even been to Future World or Toontown yet! Stay tuned for Day 6, another MK day, proudmommy!! ;)

You're back!! Great updates!! It's funny that CP looks so empty but they couldn't seat you any sooner. The food looks so good. I've never seen dinner pictures there.

Thanks so much for staying with me! My aunt and I replaced the floors in BOTH of my bathrooms over the weekend, a job I NEVER plan on doing again. It was SO hard, mostly because I had to chisel old flooring out of downstairs. It took me 5 hours just to do that part, and I was HURTING by the end of the weekend. The floors look AWESOME, though. My aunt is a working maniac :worship: , I can't believe she did all that just to be nice. GEEZ!

Anyway, I honestly never even thought about how empty the restaurant was!!! I WISH I took a picture of the outside, it was SWARMING with people waiting for their reservations. They must have been having trouble at the host/hostess station that night, for sure! :sad2: The food was very good, but I would like to try the breakfast next time, I think.

Thanks for reading my updates, disneychix! It was fun reliving that MK day today!

Just came across your report! My family and I was there the same week as you...Epcot same day (2/17). We are also in Ohio, the southern part, but we drove! :scared1:
I'm wanting to do a TR, but geesh, so much time and patience that I don't think I have! I'm enjoying yours though! popcorn::
Lily is adorable! :cutie:

Hi there!! :wave2:

Thanks so much for checking out my report! This is my first one, and it has been pretty time consuming, especially downloading all the pics on photobucket! It's fun to relive the days, though, and I knew ahead of time I wanted to do one, so I wrote a little journal so I'd remember everything. I email the link to family members who weren't with us, so they can see what we were up to. My mom keeps saying she "has to figure out how to log on there so I can give MY side of the story." hahaha

I can't believe you guys DROVE! I have so many memories from childhood of driving to Disney, but those were in the middle of summer with no AC in the car. Ah, the good old days! I'm sure your trip was much more comfortable than that!

Let me know if you decide to do a report, 'cause I'd love to see how you guys partied at the World the same week as us!! :cool1:

Thank you, I will!
I've posted a few pics from our trip to photobucket, then on here and woah...pain in the butt! It takes forever! :headache: I may try to do it when I have some extra time.
I would love to fly from Columbus to Orlando...what is it, 3 hours? It took us 16 to drive! My husband refuses to fly though. We drove through the night on the way down and back so it wasn't too bad. I'm in the works for another trip to the World later on in the year with several family members, just trying to pick a week when we can have time off together.:yay: That's the only thing getting me through the "after vacation depression"...planning another trip. So sad to be home!
Looking forward to the rest of your report!

Lily is adorable!

thankyou so much bye the way it is LILY:lovestruc

Lily wanted to personally thank you. ;) It took us 2hrs and 15min to fly down. For some reason, my DH (who flew last time) says he never wants to fly again. I don't know what's up with that, but we'll just go without him! BTW, we're going back (I THINK, HOPE) the week before Thanksgiving. That'd be funny if you picked the same week as us again! :rotfl:

You are welcome Lily! :cutie: Just wanted to say I love the hair wrap too! :goodvibes How long does that last in your hair? How long did it take to do? How do you take it out? Can you "wash" it when you wash your hair?

My DD wanted this done while we were down there. We didn't do it. Wasn't sure how it worked...I always pull the front part of her hair back and figured it would be a pain to work with.

its still in and weve been home for a month. It took 10 min. It just eventually falls out.yes you can wash it.your dd should get a hair wrap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:rotfl:

Yeah, of course she'd say that!!! It actually is really cute, and looks the same still as the day she got it. I don't know how we'll end up taking it out? Something to note -- they price it by the inch, and with beads and her short hair, it cost $32!!! :scared1:

Oh no, I've created another DIS addict in the family..:sad2: She sure doesn't get sick of posts complimenting her! ;)

Thanks for the kind words and for joining us on our TR!!! I'm certainly not a great photographer, but I do love my camera. It's a Kodak EasyShare Z812 IS. I think that is the older model, even though I just got it a year ago. It was about $280 at Best Buy last year. Hope you find one that you love!! Make sure to take lots of pics so we can read about your adventures!!!!
