Really?? I love all the corny jokes and the food is good too.
Yeah. We're a bunch of freaks. :lmao: We go to a NC theme park every year called Tweetsie Railroad. They have a corny old west show that reminds me of HDDR. We like it well enough at Tweetsie, but don't want to see it again at Disney. And, to be fair - I can't really judge the food. A few hours after we ate there we got REALLY sick. So bad I couldn't even walk to a cab to go to the hospital. We had to have a doc come to our room. At the time we thought it was from the food, but the doc said it was retro-virus(?). It took us a month to feel better. We lay in the room at Disney for 4 days with no food. So, HDDR will forever be associated with THAT. DH even changed the song a little.... Hoop-dee-doo-doo. :lmao:

We'll be leaving in 14 hours and had one of those last minute questions.

Where should we goto meet pooh?

Besides the Crystal Palace character meals?

In Magic Kingdom, go to Fantasyland.
Look for the play area called Pooh's Playful Spot. Stand just outside the play area ... Pooh and Tigger often hang out there for meet and greets. It's just across the path from the gift shop/exit of The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh ride.

pooh is always at the crystal palace,
and sometimes in the playground across from the pooh ride in magic kingdom.

Have a great time!!

Pooh - Crystal Palace if you don't mind paying for a meal. The characters are also in Animal Kingdom, I think the location is called the character landing or something like that! You will find it on the guide maps!!

We landed in Orlando @ 10am and we're in are room between 11-11:30.

They put us into building 7 5 minutes from the main building, cafe, shop, bars, laundry, and the ool.

We decorated our windows with red, white, and blue lights, patriotic cling ons. Tomorrow my wife will string red, white, and blue Mickey's up.

Garden Grocer delivered right on time with all we ordered.

Scat Cat’s has Sam Adam's Summer Ale:cool1:

Lovin' It!

I booked 5 nights here in January before we leave on our cruise! I am so excited. We visited the resort quickly last January and fell in love!

Does anyone know if POFQ is the exclusive resort for the golfers the last week of October? I had changed my mind on the week I booked and called to change it to the last week in October and POFQ was completely booked!!! :confused3 There was availability at any other resort so I figured something must be up. I checked on Expedia out of curiosity and it says the resort will not allow reservations for the dates requested. If it's not for golfers, what else could it be??? :confused3

Not sure about this year, but last year when we were there the last week in October was also World Cup of Paintball (you'd be surprised how many of us pball families stay on-property) and the F&W Festival.

Let us know if you like it. I think our family is the only one around who didn't. :confused3 Most people seem to LOVE it.
:goodvibes

Count me in as the other family that did not like the HDDR. We went in 1996 because our CM raved about it. We were on our honeymoon and we were seating in the back with a pole blocking most of the show and the food was awful.... But like you said most people seem to like it. Maybe we hit it on an off night.

PS I am so glad I found this thread. We are going to POFQ in April. This will be our first time at this resort.

I think it's normally one of the deluxe resorts. After all, it takes big $ to play on the PGA. You might want to pose this question on the resort board itself. I'm sure someone there will see it and know the answer.

Just like everyone one said here at DIS we took the bus to Epcot and walked over to the Board Walk for lunch at the ESPN Club (any place with TV's in the restroom is a cool place to be).

Hoop Dee Doo was great! Laughed and Laughed!

Watched the Magic Kingdom Fireworks in front of Mr Disney and Mickey. This was a great view to see TINK. I not a big fan of fireworks but this was awsome.

Stayed for Spectramagic and was just as great!

Now the sad news. The fridge isn't keeping cold. The room is colder. Stop the presses the Maintenance Man Just came in and is going to replace it as we speak!

As we replace it we realize that it may have been pluged in the wrong plug. He also mentioned leaving the door the fringe is housed in open so that it will get cooler faster(?).

Sorry,my search doesn´t seem to work.
Could anybody please tell me if they have elevators in the buildings.
We stayed at the CSR this year and although they had them in our building, they didn´t work the hole week and it was annoying the carry luggage and stroller up the stairs.

Thanks in advance
Conny
