How do you like that title? It comes in to play later on in this MTR. So on March 14th, Jacob and I went to AK. I had taken a lot of great photos a month earlier, but lost them during the computer crash. (By the way, Dell is now refunding the money for that horrible technical service phone call I received.

) So, I wanted to go to AK again before it started getting to hot and the animals were too lazy to move around.
So, at 6:00am my alarm goes off. I get up and hit "snooze". Alarms goes off again, "snooze" again, alarm, "snooze". So, now it is 6:30 am. I get up and realize Bubblegum is in bed with me. Obviously Jacob has gotten up, so I find him in his playroom with the TV on.
Me: "Jacob did you stay up all night?"
Jacob: "No."
Me: "What time did get up?"
Jacob: "I don't know, 6:00 or whenver Cartoon Network came back on."
Me to myself: "Yeah, I don't believe him."
I make coffee and get Jacob some breakfast, again ask if he stayed up all night and he tells me he didn't.
We managed to get out of the house and on the road by 8:00am.

This is good for us. About 8:15am I decide to call JS thinking he would be on his way to Lancaster, PA for a convention. Nope, he was still asleep. Oops, ok talk at ya later.
We make it to AK by 9:30. The lines were backed up for parking. As a true WDW addict that I am and it is so important to get in the park as soon as possible, I tell Jacob to hope in the front seat so I can go to a booth on the passenger side. Jacob shows the ticket, grunts at me. I told him he should be happy, I'm letting him ride in the front seat. He wasn't having it. Think to myself how I still don't think this kid slept the night before.
We got parked, tram drove up just as we got in line, things were looking good. I laughed as I went through security. The guard tells me to open all pockets, "Sir, they are all already open." He laughed and said I must have done this before.
So, the lines to get through the turnstiles are about 10 people deep. I go over to this one line and realize no one is using this one turnstile. I tell the people in front of me they can use it. They don't move, don't even really acknowledge me, so I grab Jacob, we make our way through and on we went. I felt kind of bad because we jumped in front of about 6 people, but I tried to help.
So, off we went. Now one of the pics I lost in the Great Computer Crash (that's what I'm calling it now) was of the anteater on the path into the park. The day we were there previously he was pacing in circles and I got some great pics. Well, not today. Couldn't see him.

Then time for some birds:
For this one I took one and it came out really dark and before I thought, I popped open the flash and got this one. I felt really bad afterwards. Poor birds were probably seeing spots after that.
On we went and of course I had to get this pic:
And how in the world had I never noticed this:
I think it is because normally by the time we get there the front area is so crowded you don't see it. Or because we are always in such a hurry. Since I wanted animal pictures, we headed towards Africa.
I'll continue this later, just had to get started. Just to let you know what is coming, 79 pics, yes 79 pics have been uploaded and resized in photobucket. So I'm a picture taking WDW freak.

Also, a lot of these pics are of Jacob. I love my son and on this day he was actually happy to have his pic taken.

And then there are the pics of butts. Yes, you read that correctly. I almost named this MTR "A whole lot of butts!" but thought better of it.
