I voted Apple Pie, b/c I usually MUST have a slice of this as well. But my favorite on Thanksgiving is Cheesecake. =()~ YUMMO~~!!!

While I love a slice of traditional Pumpkin Pie, I MUST have pecan pie, too. We are visiting family this Thanksgiving, and if they don't have pecan pie, I will come home and bake my own..

I would love to see a recipe for sugar cream pie..it sounds wonderful-I have never heard of it!

YUMMMMM....sugar cream. This is such a Hoosier thing.

I voted for pumkin, because that was what we always had the most of at Grandma's, but she always has 3 or 4 sugar cream pies as well.

Yummy! I love sugar cream pie. Another Hoosier here.
I also love persimmon pie.

For Thanksgiving, you gotta have Pumpkin pie.

I voted Lemon Merengue.
I usually have a slice of pumpkin pie at Thanksgiving, because it's tradition. But some friends of ours have an "orphan" Thanksgiving every year for any of their friends who have no other obligations, and my friend makes a MEAN lemon merengue pie every year. It's the best!! It simply wouldn't be Thanksgiving without it!

Definitely pumpkin! That's the only kind of pie we ever have; my grandmother once asked if we'd want something else, like apple, and we all looked at her like she had 6 heads.
