We are thinking of going to Dl the week of Thanksgiving. My sister birthday is on Thanksgiving so we thought it might be a fun time to go. She has never been to DL. Are the crowds as busy as christmas or are they manageable. Is it a nice time to go???

We went during Thanksgiving in 2007 and LOVED IT!! Honestly, the crowds seemed similar to those in the summer. We avoided the park during the early afternoon hours, and didn't seem to have any problem navigating the crowds.

yes!! thanksgiving is the best time to go!!! We go every year at that time. the longest time I have waited in a line is MAYBE 45 minutes, and that was on the Nemo ride and Peter Pan. Seriously, though, we have like 15 minute waits on everything.:cheer2:

We went down just to have dinner in the park last year. Crowds were very reasonable. The weather was great (though you take your chance at that time of the year, I think) and we're going back again for Thanksgiving dinner again this year.

I LOVE spending T-day with Mickey!

Blue Bayou was great for our big meal, too. They had a very nice traditional t-day meal, plus other regular yummy stuff.

from what ive heard a few days before tg day is busy but the days after arent so maybe try to make her bday the 1st day in the park an eat some where nice for there thanksgiving specials.
