So, I was looking at your user name and trying to figure out what that is all about, when it dawned on me that it is a Bible passage!

(Don't tell Willie or Lampy but I go to church and read the Bible- its a Mrs. TCD thing-I still need a lot of work)

So, I try to look it up, and there is no verse 56 in Proverbs chapter 3. So, you are referring to verses 5 and 6, right? Here is something weird, my two younger DD's (who will be 12 by cruise time) go to a Christian school. Proverbs 3:5-6 is their memory verse this week! They were both just saying it to me yesterday. Wow!

BTW, it is a great verse.

Thank you for the welcome! You are right about the verse. A great one to live by. As the time is getting closer, we are getting very excited about our cruise. We were originally booked on the Nov. 10th cruise but decided to bump it a week when our new school schedule came in. My husband and I are both teachers and have Thanksgiving week off, but our DS is in another district and we are still waiting to find out what his schedule will be. He might have to miss a few days but it will be worth it.

I look forward to getting to know everyone on this board.

By the way LAMPSKIES, I love the faces.

Yep, we are sailing RCCL April 1st Western.....looks loike we are flying in Friday or Saturday and hopefully hooking up with the Miller family for a couple cold ones prior....."not that there is anything wrong withthat"? Right TCD? Us and some neighbors have booked EVERT verandah on the back of the ship......deck 7! Ya, the "pot luck" neighbors......

Hey TCD....I see my Bears have taken along some "Bear weather" to South Florida!! Although it was 5 degrees with a -11 windchill this morning......forcast for 5 degrees for a high on Sunday with -15 to -25 windchills.........Lets play in Chicago!!!!!!!!

P.S. You don't think the neighbors will let that sailing go by without pics....do ya?

Yes- it was chilly here in Fla. this morning!

I get that Chicago superstation on my cable here, and last night I saw a reporter from Chicago in Miami interviewing Ditka. She was complaining about how chilly it was in Miami. I am in west central Florida, and the weather will be warming up the rest of the week. We will have weather back in the 70's again after Thursday.

That should be warm enough for Rex!

Yeah- I know that there will be pictures-I will have to prepare myself.

Hi!

I just checked the prices for summer 2008 (posted now on DCL website.) A Cat 9 for the westbound Panama Canal (right now) is almost the same rate as a 7 day Mexican Riviera (Cat 9 also.)

The 15-day is out of the question for us (Rachel's school schedule.) Still questioning the Mexican Riviera. I just seems we haven't read very many good reviews about it. I've heard that it's even hotter than TX! (Dont think even where the devil lives is hotter than TX.)

Anyone here considering summer 2008?

Hot? It was -1 on the Jeep this morning......and about-18 wind chill. The forecast is now a high of 0 for Sunday and up to -30 wind chills here in N.W. Indiana....that's 100 degrees colder than the miami forecast?!?!?!?!?! Just up oround the borger of Michigan (about 30 mins from here) they were getting 5 inches of snow an hour!!!! 94 was sut down....lake effect....guess we just missed it by a wind shift!! So Priscilla.....heat is O.K. w/me. 60 days 'till our sailing...can't wait! GO BEARS!!!

I was going to change my Thanksgiving cruise for a West Coast 2008 - that was until I saw I had to pay about $1,400 more for the smae cabins, total of over $8,000 for the 5 of us. I decided to keep what we have for Thanksgiving instead. Besides, I can get on another cruise line and do the same 7 days to Mexico for less than half of what Disney charges. Know I know it's not DCL, but 4 grand is 4 grand!!!

We decorated the showroom with palm trees, grills, bears and Colts shirts and hats. Put a few Rams on the floor and are having a "tailgate to Miami" sale.....I am breaking open the "Mojito" mix at 3:30 on the showroom floor when we have our drawing for our 42" plasma!

Glad you decided to stay with the Thanksgiving booking, because..(said before, but so true) this is the most FUN bunch! with whom to sail! Also, you don't want to miss Castaway Cay. (Not trying to influence your decision. )

I keep hearing so much about Mojito's lately, both from this thread and from a friend. I think I need to try some on the cruise!

I see the price of our room has increased around $300 from when I booked last week. Too bad I didn't book when the rates first came out. I'll have to be better prepared next time.

How threating can a "colt" be? LOL TCD the media is sure smacking "our" Gator.....he has his BEST games under preassure....look out!
